Winter was supposed to loose to LEH?

Apparently it's too complex for you to process. For all the complaints you have about the ITTF WR not being accurate. It's been 3 consecutive upsets between these 2 across 3 years. What this means is that the ITTF WR is not the problem, it's either/both of these 2 that is/are not consistent.

Two players with 1-1 means, the 3rd time, either one can win and either one can loose.

Or maybe the ranking is just not precise enough to distinguish players that close together in level. This isn't pure mathematics and their results are consistent with just about any reasonable probability model based on such rankings.

Maybe unkind of me but I relished every moment of Elbiali getting called on his illegal serve, having points taken away, then seeing him have his own dumb challenge lose against someone who actually knows how to serve legally.

It speaks volumes that he didn't challenge any of his own serve faults. I'm assuming he can of course. Still not sure how TTR works. But this specific match making me a believer lol

Not TTR or ITTF's fault players have been allowed to serve illegally for years. They should've been on notice as of recently to clean up their act. It's on the athlete to use their challenge or not.

Around 9-9 or deuce WCQ usually pulls out the very successful hook serve. Wonder why he didn't use such a potent weapon in his serving repetoire in this event. Must've forgotten about it.

40~60 world ranking is very interchangeable and anyone can win, especially the data shows they are 1-1 prior to the world cup.

If I take the avg of the 3 WR, then LEH is 56 vs Winter is also 56.
So to me, any one of the 2 can win. Not sure how difficult is to understand that....

Despite the differences between us over WCQ, there is no denying the fandom subculture at TTD is not any weaker than those Chinese fangirls. At least the latter are more consistent in their behavior and attitude.
