Someone can make a comparaison between Rxton 7 37 and DHS H8-80 ?

I only played one day with the last one in BH but love it already.

I played 8-80 and really loved first 2 weeks but after the time... the rubber was trash. My first tournament victory was with Franziska and 8-80 on both sides....2 weeks later I lost with the worst player I know which is funny because the guy is really bad

Will see later.. Is just a test for the moment. Maybe is too hard. I think i will prefer something softer but i want the same caracteristic.

Comparing it to my 5 month old LAC on the robot using ESN spinsight yielded no big difference in performance.

Powerful loops against backspin were not really as powerful compared to LAC, but spinny loops were just as easy if not easier.

did you boosted the rxton 7 compared to the lac? heard a lot of people play lac unboosted so i just wanted to ask

The old LAC was unboosted for about 4 to 5 month I think. I had another blade with a boosted LAC and what was noteworthy is that it was basically destroyed when I reminded the rubber from the blade. The sponge has several tears simply by removing the rubber.
I didn't think that LAC needs to be boosted. I have boosted the second one with one layer of yellow seamoon and to be honest it just became mushier.

The Rxton 7 I glued on with two layers of glue on the rubber and one on the blade, but without boosting.

i was lucky and received a brand new yasaka rakza z extra hard and glued it onto a blade to compare it with the new rxton 7 '39 (which was as spinny as the 5 month old LAC). Now comparing the passive bounce, the Rakza Z EH is even more unbouncy (dead). comparing spin on serve, topspin and topspin against underspin i had new best values with the rakza. I thought 55 rps for an underspin serve would be my technical limitation because i did not have a rubber i achieved more with. with Rakza Z EH i got 58 and that not only once but several times. it might be the initial tackiness, but the Rxton 7 was also brand new with its initial tackiness. Topspin with RZ EH was 121 rps vs the 115 with the rxton 7 and the old LAC.

this might all be anecdotal evidence and i am eager to test it in matches where i dont know where the ball is coming.

It's very likely I got 37 for my forehand then. Everything went wrong for my forehand.

sry, its already cut and glued, so i can not tell, but according to anatomic edge (YT channel) it is 76g uncut and about 55g cut, so more on the heavy side of things.

why would i compare PK50 to Rakza Z EH ? PK i use on the backhand and Rakza Z EH i definitely would use on the forehand.
Given the experience of the boosted LAC whose sponge tore apart when removing it from the blade, even though i had only used a very thin layer of yellow seamoon, i would not think that boosting LAC is a good idea in the first place.
What was interesting is, that the Jupiter 3 Asia '39 felt quite nice on the backhand (on the blade i got the RZEH on the forehand) and i did not have to adjust much (coming from the pk50). RZEH on the other hand had a noticable other throw than LAC and Rxton 7 '39 for pushes and flicks.

The one "issue" i have is that the ball feeling on the Rxton 7 is very different to LAC. The feeling when hitting the ball is just like any other chinese rubber like battle 3 or 729 Dragon-F. Simply very muted.

I just received 2 LAC. Ordered Pro in hope for better quality control, but was disappointed. Black one is 58g uncut, red one 69g. The red one i had before was 66g. Thats quite a wide range. Maybe the black one is softer and good for backhand.
Does anyone know how/where to get same quality every time?

I tested both Rxton 7 (37deg) and Rxton 9 (39deg), with 1 layer of national yellow on the Rxton 7 and 2 layers of national yellow on the Rxton 9 on a DHS W968 replica. The Rxton 7 is very nice imo, very controlled but not slow at all. The Rxton 9 on the other hand had a similar base speed than a D09C imo. The throw angle of the Rxton 9 also reminded me of D09C. Both rubbers grip the ball quite well and attacking half long balls felt quite nice. The top sheet of the Rxton 9 felt super elastic tho which felt unusual, some ppl may like this, others not so much.

In terms of spin they are just good as any other rubber like 09C and boosted H3 national. Measured it with spinsight and on the top end I got 130+ rps against block, from both rubbers. I just find the spin generation of rubbers like H3 a bit overrated, it can create a lot of spin but other rubbers do the exact same.

TLDR: if someone is looking for a tack rubber that has afaster base speed and throw angle than a boosted H3, then a boosted Rxton 9 is a good option. Rxton 7 (37deg) is a great medium hardness rubber if you are looking for a very controlled but definetly not slow rubber.
