I guess HIrano is taking all of June off. I knew she wasn't attending Contender Skopje and Star Contender Ljubljana, but she's also not listed for Contender Zagreb, a tournament where she made the SF last year. Most of the top Japanese women will be there. I think her extended vacation after Paris 2024, though necessary for her physical and mental health, left her unprepared for the World Championships. Things can change, but right now, highly doubtful she can make the LA 2028 team given that there are really only 2 spots available as Miwa is a lock.

I can't understand...Why is Hashimoto Gonoka not announced anywhere in June?

What about the VTT tournaments?
Sato, for example, in Europe in June - Pristina, Ljubljana, Zagreb...

And yet it is a pity that she so rarely participates in WTT tournaments...

I'm probably wrong... But I think there's another reason Hashimoto doesn't participate in WTT tournaments... But I don't understand what it is...

It's doubtful for sure, but it is a long time till 2028 and talent isn't the problem. The good thing about being low sometimes is that it can help you have no pride in facing hard facts. She is also a phenomenal doubles player. Let's see how it plays out.

Is it because China no longer sees her as a threat so she is allowed to join?
That policy was lifted after 2020.

Kinoshita players like Kihara and Matsushima played last year so could be Nakazawa Rui/Wang Rui using his connection again.
