(Previously, her signature shots were the Hina drives from a distance, but recently she has upgraded to a more aggressive style at the table, which I think has also increased her offensive power.
However, this style is common among Chinese players, and unfortunately it did not translate into results this time either. She appears to be fully recovered from her injury, so I hope she will take on this eternal challenge again next time.)

(If she's in such good shape, I wish they'd stop complaining about her arm injury.
She's the one who decided to compete before she was fully recovered.
Like Hashimoto and Odo, if she really wanted to improve her ranking she could do so in no time, but she's worried about her late start in the Tokyo Olympics selection race and is too focused on maintaining her ranking.)

(This marks a 17-match losing streak against Sun, and she hasn't won a single match against China's top 4, updating her losing streak...
Please make sure to recover from your injury before coming back. The Japanese women's team has a deep roster, so we can expect them to grow.) [Same user from the other article]

(
Before I knew it, I was rooting for Wang. Once you make a bad impression, it's hard to erase it. She was wearing a support on her left wrist in today's match, but she didn't seem to mind it at all. What was that MTO about back then???
Her usual exaggerated gestures after making a mistake just seem sarcastic. Sorry, but it's a shame!)

(
...or rather, I'm worried about Wang Manyu's condition.
Recently, she's allowed 2 games to be "given" to Japanese players in succession: Nagasaki Miyu, Hashimoto Honoka, and Hayata Hina.
Wang Manyu has always been known to easily concede at least 1 game, but her recent performance has really made me wonder what's going on.)

(Updating her losing streak?! This is expected, considering she lost to all of China's top 4 players before her injury.
She's already down to 5th-placed among Japanese women, so I think she should prioritize treating her injury first.) [Same user from the other article]

(I personally have some doubts about MTO, but I don't understand the mentality of people who go out of their way to post offensive comments. It's common knowledge these days that many celebrities commit suicide after being criticized, so it's not okay to say whatever you want just because you're anonymous.)

(As always, there are a lot of comments criticizing Hayata.
Even if you look at the websites of specialized magazines like "Table Tennis Kingdom" and "Number," you won't find any mention of "Hayata breaking the rules."
Hayata injured her dominant arm at the Olympics and is still fighting while receiving treatment. There are a lot of emotional comments, like, "She shouldn't play until she's healed," or "It's unfair to call a timeout and win a comeback when you're losing."
Does Harimoto still resent Hayata?
I don't think so anymore.
Maybe it's not just those around her who find "an outlet for badmouthing"?)

Since it's not a rule, it's outside the jurisdiction of the organizer, WTT. She broke an unwritten table tennis custom of not allowing a coach on the bench during a friendly match. 3 weeks later, she explained that she had received prior approval from the association (though the association has not acknowledged this, so the truth of this is unclear). However, if she had not explained and obtained the opponent's consent in advance, or at least when calling in a coach, it would be unfair. It's a custom established from the perspective of fairness. Her comment after the match, "Today was a battle of wills," raises questions about whether she intentionally tried to destabilize the opponent. This unsportsmanlike behavior is being called into question.[/b])

(Hayata told the organizers in advance:
1. I wanted to take a medical time-out (MTO).
2. At that time, I said I wanted to receive a massage from someone I was personally familiar with.
3. To avoid any misunderstandings about receiving advice, I allowed a third party to be present.
The organizers approved these requests.
That's all Hayata should have done in advance.
Hayata is under no obligation to obtain the consent of her opponent, Harimoto.
What is so petty and despicable about this?
When Hayata took an MTO in the final game, Harimoto became suspicious and anxious.
I understand her feelings.
Perhaps the organizers didn't explain it well, or perhaps didn't communicate it properly.
However, this is a matter between the organizers and Harimoto.
It has nothing to do with Hayata's character.)

(She didn't complain about the MTO. Did you actually watch the interview? I'm sure everyone has their own opinions, but I'd like you to properly check what happened before writing. Also, she was just answering questions from a mass media announcer. She shed tears, but she wasn't "crying her eyes out."
I personally have nothing but doubts about Hayata's behavior during that match.)

After the match, Harimoto spoke tearfully about the medical timeout.
"There was someone treating her for the tournament, and I don't have any opinions about it, but halfway through, someone who was also (Hayata's) coach was treating her, so I was really curious about that. I thought maybe he could have given her some advice, and I was really wondering about that throughout the match.")
