I was there yesterday and watched two of them - youngsters fought hard but ultimately were outclassed. Lots of group team photos being taken and they seemed to have a good time but looked like they were going home.

Didn't expect them to win and one of them outperformed my expectations. They do have to start somewhere and it was nice however ir was done to see them get a sponsort to play. The most promising amongst them didnt make it though for whatever reason.

That's sad for the UK, the young Anna Hursey is the only hope for them, Tom Jarvis is now the only hope for the mens
Anna's still not at Pavade's level at the same age, she has to make something important to get into the top 50: footwork, she really has a poor footwork. Last week in the ETTTC playoffs she took a brutal 0-3 vs Jianan Yuan, only -3, -8, -5, 17-33 overhall yikes . And France was not at the level most of the people thought it should have been. I've been watching the match, it was a nightmare for her. It was definitely not the same Anna we saw vs Jieni Shao at China Smash.

I agree - they gave off a really nice energy and played with commitment and energy. The two lads I saw play were both young (Abdulfatai who lost to Hunter from UK and Adegoke who lost to Lambiet)

Beast had a great match and was unlucky to lose to Thomis

Watching it I thought he didn't have a great match - he was 7-1 up in game 1 and lost it and again later on and lost it - he looked a little tight sadly and wasn't able to convert on his momentum once he gained it.
