First U15 GS title for Ishida Kokomi, 11 international competitions after her debut in 2025.

A long road ahead to catch up to Matsushima Miku and Muramatsu Cocona, both of whom are even slightly younger.

The outlook for Matsushima is actually rather challenging. This is the 2nd year in a row that she finished 5th. I have a hunch she is gonna end up like her older brother when it comes to selection trials.

Ishida, the girl who won, has never competed internationally and will play her first WTT Youth event at WTT YCT Helsingborg 2025 (and then WTT YCT Sandefjord 2025).

Irene has tricky serves. I've seen a number of her opponents pop up the ball that they thought was underspin. Her opponent also had trouble with heavy side spin to the middle. Eventually, the Chinese girl got used to it, and the power deficit was too great. But Irene is definitely one to keep an eye on.

he won U19 Asian Champs silver medalist.
he withdrew and was replaced by Hsu

Hung Jing Kai another star withdrew injured last min and has no replacement

if both of them are there, Taiwan has a huge chance to get gold.
