Poret got faulted by the umpire with a 31.1 degree toss.
It seems like players need to be careful with their toss when doing a reverse pendulum serve.

So I have to make this point because I think toss angle of 30 degrees is now being misunderstood like the 6 inch height is being misunderstood. The toss is supposed to be vertical. As in zero degrees. Straight up. 30 degrees is the deviation from vertical to allow for when a serve is being tossed up or not. Now people are making it about being close to 30 degrees rather than the fact that these tosses don't go straight up! 25 degrees is not vertical either! It is just tolerated because of the distance between where the ball is tossed and contacted on some serves.

And yes, serves of the hook or reverse variety come with toss verticality issues for various reasons. But as Duda and others have shown, it is quite possible.

As the shot in the video below shows, the sole focus of the CNT is now Harimoto. They don't spare much time on Ito and Hayata that are now Ishikawa II and III, only getting in the way of younger teammates rather than building team morale. It would've been better to field Kihara, Nagasaki or even Mende, and yet JTTA decided to waste time on fairness...

Miwa loses: Its the T League.
Hayata loses: Ishikawa part 2.
Ito loses: Ishikawa part 3 (no T league)
CiC loses: retire CIC
Diaz and Shin: is the sky going to fall on our heads since we played in the T League as well?

He was totally pi$$ed off after losing that first set 11-3, I think we saw his anger at that.

If Sabine beats Qin, I think that gets her into the top 10 regardless of all the other stuff. The points she gains should be enough to bypass Odo and Ito unless someone else jumps over from behind like Shin which while not impossible, is pretty unlikely.

Without beating Yidi she won't be top 10 on Monday at least, since Ito is gaining 125 pts too (300 replacing 175). It's only 2 weeks later that last year's WC points expire, then chances are looking good, but there's still Hashimoto in here and playing Taiyuan until then as well

Yes, there will be a delay until Ito's points run out. It will be Hashimoto and Shin but I think Sabine is fine, she will get there sometime, it is mostly a matter of when not if anymore.
