Well he defeated FZD in the similar situation around 3 times ... Before TTR. He is old this time, need to have a new tactic lol.
Both players could use TTR. Dima just knows like all smart players do that your most dubious serves come into play under pressure.

Twisted draw. No seeding???

ITTF/WTT stupidity reigns again, seeding 4 instead of 8. I guess the need to encourage gambling is addictive.
And to sell tickets for the first few days at a higher price. Profit! Inventing solutions to solve unnecessary problems.

Took them long enough to put the WR next to the player's name in the live feed/stream.

WS R16
QYX WR39 1-4 Winter WR12 (9, -5, -6, -6, -8)
G1 31, 32, 42, 48, 78, 79, 119
G2 04, 14, 18, 28, 29, 39, 310, 510, 511
QYX too short to handle some of the deep high balls on BH...
G3 40, 41, 51, 53, 63 dead net for QYX, 611
Like when playing Hashimoto, QYX is playing according to instructions instead of her own comprehension of the style.
G4 03 TO for QYX, 04, 34, 36 medium net for Winter, 56, 59, 69, 611
Another late TO (1, 2) again. What's up with CNT coaching?

If Sabine beats Qin, I think that gets her into the top 10 regardless of all the other stuff. The points she gains should be enough to bypass Odo and Ito unless someone else jumps over from behind like Shin which while not impossible, is pretty unlikely.

Franziska 1-3 QD (8) (7, -5, -8, -8)
Duda, Franziska, Ovtcharov, Stumper have all lost to QD in 2025, other than a win for Ovtcharov. Togami of Germany.
How did he play so bad at Paris 2024, World Cup 2025 and WTTC 2025?

Ito WR10 0-4 WMY WR2 (-9, -6, -5, -3)
G1 60, 66, 86, 88, 98, 911
The conspiracist in me is still telling me that WMY lost to Odo on purpose.

WS Grp8
Ito 3-2 Zhang Mo (10, -10, -11, 4, 4)
910 ZM served off the table, 1210

Like WYD, how useful will Ito be at WTTC 2026?
