You can say I’m on the low intermediate level of table tennis.
My BH is my stronger side—I can generate good sidespin, full ghost serves, and fast /moderate topspin on serves and third balls with medium speed. (Fast returns I just block or sidespin on them) My FH is less consistent, with limited spin and an inconsistent / easy to block loop. All this I can do with a cheap 10$ premade from Stag with mildly tacky top sheet. 🙂
Also, I have a strict budget and I’m going to use this blade for quite some time, so I think inner alc will help in future, also there’s that sweet spot advantage too.
If you're not able to make HEAVY spin, at all, with your loop, and people aren't blocking it long at all, maybe a fiber blade isn't the smartest option to learn to do that. Casual players shouldn't be able to get anything on the table.

Thanks for the comparison. Did you ever try the King acB ? It's my favorite blade and I wonder how it compares to the Inner Limbas.
I actually own one and have played with it. Compared to my current Viscaria/Q968 (using Dig09C on both FH and BH for both setups) ->

It has a somewhat woody and soft feel, and I just can't generate enough power to put the ball away/finish the point. On the flip side, it's very forgiving to play with and produces a slightly higher arc than the Viscaria, but much lower compared to the Q968. BH on the King acB is really effortless since it isn't head-heavy like typical DHS blades, but the FH just feels way too weak

Nice to know thanks for the info @GhostBackhand ! I 'll get to test it one of these days, any comparisons with B2X in case you have that too? B2X throws pretty low and direct too haha

Are you BackhandGhost from Diendanbongban? If so, I’m really glad to see that you’re still active.

It would probably be interested in exploring the difference from HL 5H and HL 5A as they are more different. I play with HL 5 H and it is quite different from all these HL5 variants.
I'll get to that one of these days, they are not the cheapest blades so will see how to get to that test :D

I am also playing with commercial Hurricane WCQ and SYS. SYS feels a little easier to play with. It pairs well with C2/LAC. I have D09C/Rxton 1 on WCQ. So hard to say the exact difference since rubbers are different. I played with Bo carbon before, it was hard & stiff. and I would assume B2X probably harder and stiffer. SYS has a soft gentle feel when contacting the ball.

HL5 H can be a beast. Loop and flat hit close to the table are pretty good.

Q968 is a Limba inner and Viscaria is a Koto outer. If you think they're the same, then what can I do with your comparison with the King acB ?

HL5A is Koto | ALC | Ayous | Kiri. In other words, it's DHS's Viscaria clone and nothing like HL5's Limba | Ayous | KLC | Ayous lol.

Ok, so I’ll summarize it for you when comparing the KingACB vs Q968 Inner Limba, based on my guess of your level from your question:

  • Handle: Both are pretty similar — small and round. Comfortable for Asian hands, although they might feel a bit small for some Europeans. They’re not square-shaped like Butterfly handles.
  • Head size: 151×158mm. Viscaria is 150×157mm, while Q968 is 152×160mm. The KingACB doesn’t feel as head-heavy as typical DHS blades, and its overall feel is pretty close to Butterfly blades.
  • Construction: Inner Arylate Carbon in blue, with Koto outer plies. Q968 uses yellow/black Inner AC with Limba outer plies.
  • Weight: KingACB is 90g and 5.81mm thick. Q968 is 90g and 6.00mm thick. I’m guessing the thicker core on the Q968 is there to give it more power.
  • Rubbers: Dig09C 1.9mm on both sides. Total setup weight is around 188g.
  • Vibration / Feedback: Both blades give very clear and comparable feedback to the hand. The Q968 has slightly longer dwell time. It feels drier and more “woody.” With the KingACB, when you really rip the ball, you can almost feel the whole blade flexing — there’s a LOT of vibration.
  • Balance: Q968 is head-heavy. KingACB isn’t.
  • Speed & Power: Q968 is significantly better. On hard shots, it can produce power similar to some Outer Carbon blades, probably because of its head-heavy balance and thicker core. KingACB feels pretty weak in terms of power. Against an opponent who blocks well, I could attack all day and still struggle to break through.
  • Spin generation: Q968 is excellent, with a high and dipping ball trajectory. KingACB is slightly better than typical Outer Carbon blades in terms of spin, but the trajectory is fairly flat.
  • Control: KingACB is better here. It feels softer and smoother, is easier to block with, and gives me better control over placement.
  • Best suited for BH or FH players: Backhand. Why? Because it’s softer, the vibration/feedback comes through the handle very clearly, it’s not head-heavy, and the power output isn’t excessive, so it’s easy to control. For a FH-dominant player, though, I think it lacks power.

Sure. The spin generation of the KingACB is much better than the B2X haha. I'd say it's about 20% higher. But the power output is significantly weaker compared to the B2X. Makes sense though, the B2X is stiff as a rock with its super thick core. The B2X doesn't produce any noticeable vibration upon impact, but to make up for it, the power is quite good. And B2X & KingACB are't head-heavy

Honestly, the build quality on the 301 is absolutely terrible. As soon as I applied glue to the blade, it started clumping up almost immediately. Feels like that cheap outer ply just sucks all the moisture out of the glue. And when I tried peeling the glue off to redo it, the wood fibers came off with the glue. Ended up with the whole blade surface splintered and uneven. Price is about 40$

Just curious but did you seal it before? most DHS blades have this, b2x too :)
