Tuttle World 25 and 27, Chinese Zyre 03

Hi all,

I have been advertised with this new rubber. Apparently it is similar to Zyre 03, but at 20€. Obviously it won't be as good, but for 20€ could be worth the price.

Tokspin made a review, and they sell it

My friend tried it and described it as the following:
Tuttle 2.7 feels like you take commercial h3n bs 39d and you boost it so many times it softens to 37d, the quality of shot is very high, yet effort required is super low, but doesn't suffer from zyre slippage topsheet, and feels like dense h3 feel at low power. It's not as fast as zyre, at best d09c fast. Spin is good.

You kind of described just about any "good" chinese style rubber :D

I’ve been using the Butterfly Zyre03 for a year and a half, and I’ve never experienced any slipping issues. Its topsheet grip is on another level compared to any other inverted rubber I’ve tried.

I’m really curious to try the Tuttle 27 and see if it actually lives up to the hype. For the price, if it delivers even 85% of the Zyre03’s performance, it would be an absolute steal!

I've never experienced any slipping from Zyre's top sheet - never.

Have Tuttle 2.5mm, nothing special. Semi sticky, good speed and spin, high throw, low dwell time. Sponge and topsheet are fragile. Very light - only 49g for 161x156mm, 53 degrees shore O, but feels softer. The number "25" on the cover paper was left permanent deformation on the rubber...
Wonder, good speed and spin as compared to what? I have Yinhe Mercury 2 Soft on my blade…

Fair, but they require boost. The key feature is the 2.7mm sponge that makes it not necessary.

Thats my bad, I misunderstood that boosting was required, you were only comparing with h3 boost, so im curious what about the 2.7 makes it so it doesnt require boosting, is it like a butterfly sponge thing?
