I'm using Bluefire M1 and i didn't tuned it but it is faster than any Tenergy. Bluefire is a great rubber even without boosting.

I use Tenergy 05 on my forehand, and I've tried the tuned M1 combined with a blade considerably faster than mine, and... I don't know, it may be a bit faster, but it doesn't even come close to Tenergy when it comes to spin.

yes Tenergy has more control and spin but it costs twice as Bluefire. So because of the price i prefer Bluefire.

In my 23yrs of playing table tennis I never boost a single rubber and it works just fine.. well I do change a pair every 3 months.

Bluefire is a bit durable doesnt chip on the edges and doesnt tear on the inner part. My problem with tenergy is that i always get torn top sheet areas in the middle portion due to the amount of incoming spin being returned

you say bluefire has poor durability? Tenergy lasts longer than 3 months?

A "month" is a poor unit of measure for a rubber's durability, IMO. "Hours of play" would be much more fitting.

Its the quality and intensity of training that matters.. for me beyond 3months my rubbers quality is already poor..for all i know my tenergy can last 2 months, 5 hrs a day for 6days of high intensity training...then it goes to donation box
