Hi! I wanna ask for some help with my backhand topspin... I know how the movement is, and everything, but I can't make it have enough spin. It's very easy to block. Also, I feel like my hand moves and vibrates too much, so sometimes it goes too long or to the net.

Dont rush the shot. When the ball is at its highest, then hit.If its against backspin, open the racket angle and if its against topspin,Close the racket angle.

For a really fast and spinny BH topspin I always place my bat next to my hip to increase the tensions in the muscles of my arm. Then I realease the tension in a burst to create a fast forward movement. You really need to use all the joints in your arm to create a big amount of speed on the point of impact.
If your problem is only in the spin I would try to hit the ball with the flattest angle (bat face parallel to the table). It takes some practice and time to build the muscles and muscle memory, but once you "got the trick" (it's more like understanding how your body movement corresponds to the resulting ball curve) you'll have an easy time playing spinny BH topspins. ^^

How you hit the shot will depend on what kind of ball you are getting, where you are at in relation to the table, and what kind of BH topspin you want to make!

Your stance (wide is better) affect this, as well as how well you can accelerate the bat to max out at impact. The different parts of body work together to increase speed and power (and spin) Leg bend, trunk twist, shoulder twist setting the shoulder and elbow point with upper arm, using the lower arm to continue acceleration and the wrist to finish it all off. All these parts work together to strike the ball in the optimal strike zone to maximize efficiency.

The reasons a lot of players fail to make spin, speed and control are...

-poor position #1 reason for most BH shot must be done in a very good position or it will be a fail under pressure

-poor balance

- not wide enough or too upright

- failing to use the lower body

- extending the elbow too far out

- using the shoulder joint as a main pivot and using the arm locked as a whole

- hitting the ball out of impact zone (usually hitting way too far in front) sometimes it is a position issue, sometimes it is a player vision or form issue

- failing to use enough wrist

You hit the nail on the head!
