  1. Butterfly Zyre 03

I tried the 2.7mm version today on both FH and BH sides and it felt like a non-tacky H3 to me. I didn't have to adjust my technique at all, i. e. I can loop with very thick/flat contact. Zyre 03 feels hard. It's faster, but not as spiny as a well boosted H3N BS. The arc is not as pronounced as...
  2. Feedbacks and advice wanted on my services

I've been practicing my services lately, with the main goal is having different spins with somewhat similar motions. I would really appreciate if you could give me some pointers or examples on this topic, as well as some feedbacks on my services. Thank you in advanced.
  3. China market-only rubbers?

I have tried both. Just get some H3 provincial BS, they are like $30 in China.
  4. boostering xiom jekyll hyde X 47,5

I boosted my sheet of H52.5 and it does play a bit better than unboosted, faster and more spin. Still, I don't like the rubber at all, boosted or not, though.
  5. Post your latest EJ purchase

Long time no EJing. Gonna test this on the BH.
  6. Europe Smash Sweden August 14-24 2025

    What a match
  7. Europe Smash Sweden August 14-24 2025

LSD's BH is simply stunning. What a match we are having here.
  8. Who is currently the Highest-ranked JPEN player?

Kai uses a Cpen blade, though. Fun fact, Dang Qiu used a Jpen blade like 10 years back, but probably he doesn't qualify as a Jpen player now.
  9. Anti players from Taiwan

May I ask which club(s) are you playing at? I'm in Taipei atm and so far the clubs I've been to are rather too narrow or don't have the table for single matches at all :D
  10. Warranty on Table Tennis Blades

This is precisely why I aways seal my limba blades. 10+ years ago I had some really bad luck with the Stiga Eternity VPS V and neither Stiga nor TT11 offered any sort of warranty that put me off from using them until this year.
  11. What are the differences of Hurricanes that are Provincial and ones that are National?

The difference is very minimal that after 10+ years of playing with H3N I can barely notice. I use the national version just because there is no 42deg provincial ones. I guess if you're not a pro, provincial version makes more sense.
  12. Generating power very far from my body on backhand

So sorry I misread it, due to not fully waking up yet, haha. But yeah, try to not having to reach for the ball, as reaching is not optimal at all, for both power and precision.
  13. Generating power very far from my body on backhand

That's still close to the table, not very far :D Firstly, at the end of the clip, you step back too far and had to reach for the ball. That will definitely limit your power. Always try to stay close enough to the ball before hitting. Secondly, you need to use the hip for the BH loop. Right now...
  14. Stiga Surge Hybrid Carbon

It is made in Korea actually, as per the box. In general, I would seal any limba blade to prevent splintering, no matter which brand, though.
  15. Stiga Surge Hybrid Carbon

You should always seal your Stiga limba blades. I learned that lesson the hard way 10 years ago, lol.
  16. Looking for an alternative to Golden Viscaria

It's my main blade now, replacing the Jinshi/Chonglan KLCPro. In short, it sits between the W968 and Q968. Good balance between FH and BH shot quality. I really like it, but still searching for the unicorn.
  17. Looking for an alternative to Golden Viscaria

My Golden Vis is 96g and with the same rubbers it feels lighter than my 90g Surge, I guess due to its low balance.
  18. Looking for an alternative to Golden Viscaria

I have an L series Viscaria and a Golden Vis. They don't play the same at all. The L series is slower and can't generate the same amount of spin as the Golden Vis. If OP just want to add some weights to the handle, probably the best bet is use some rubber bands or glue some coins at the very...
  19. Experience with some other Loki rubbers - Arthur China, GTX Pro (inc)

I have two sheets of LAC on my blades right now and for some reasons the topsheets are different. One is solid red and one is translucent red. They plays the same, but I'm starting to have doubts about Loki's QC standards now.
  20. Experience with some other Loki rubbers - Arthur China, GTX Pro (inc)

I've been torn between the Rxton 3 Blue and LAC for my BH. The Rxton 3, while is harder to access to power, has higher ceiling in speed and spin, but it's harder to maintain consistency. My next tourney is this Saturday, hmm...
