  1. Bloom Power:Still Available?

Bloom series seems to be a FH oriented tacky rubber. It seems strange to me that they would make it in the 36-38d range rather than try to match the DHS 39-41d range.
  2. Is there a big difference between Boll Spirit Vs Boll ALC

I think there is very little difference if at all. I tried both, but probably wouldn't be able to tell the difference.
  3. Ayano vs Tawny Banh

Yes, her serve returns looked a lot like mine. Where her mind knows she is not returning correctly, but her muscle memory isn't reacting correctly and making her hit the wrong shot.
  4. Bloom Power:Still Available?

Where did you get this information? The 47d version feels closer to DHS 40 to me, but maybe you are right.
  5. Ayano vs Tawny Banh

I'm surprised you can own a club and not end up playing at least fairly regularly. If you love TT so much to own a club, why wouldn't you at least play basic matches once a week.
  6. Ayano vs Tawny Banh

Tawny and the entire US Olympic team came down to practice at the Balboa club in San Diego. I wouldn't have remembered her at all but when I saw the name appear on youtube, I was reminded that I had seen her long before. I think she was playing with a penholder named Gao Jun. Anybody know...
  7. Loki Rubbers

Sounds interesting, have you tried Rxton 5 before? How does it compare?
  8. Tibhar MX-K H and MX-K M

What ever happened to this rubber? I never hear anything about it and don't see it sold anywhere, is it discontinued? I actually really like Nexy and Daiki rubbers, and would love to see more offerings outside of ESN. I would have loved to try this rubber.
  9. Bloom Power:Still Available?

I don't understand the hardness ratings for Bloom. It comes in 45 and 47 degree, but the 47 is nothing like a 47 ESN rubber (MXP, G1, Rakza 7). It's way harder than ESN 47. The Bloom 47 is like a DHS 40/41. How did they come up with these hardness ratings?
  10. Ayano vs Tawny Banh

Here's a bit of a unusual and quirky match. Ayano vs Tawny Banh. I actually saw Tawny play in person once when I was a child over 20 years go and was completely away from the sport the past 20 years. It's a bit surreal to see her play again, how quickly those years passed.
  11. So Battle 3 is on sale

But what's the point of all these technological upgrades? 1) Friendship already makes Bloom Power which has more elasticity than B2. So it seems redundant. 2) despite all that new technology, the result is only slightly more elastic. It seems booster has a much greater impact.
  12. So Battle 3 is on sale

Also between Battle 2 and Bloom Power, to me Bloom Power is much livelier and bouncier while still being a hard sponge. Battle 2 is more dead than Bloom, but livelier than H3. Would you agree?
  13. So Battle 3 is on sale

I don't know why Big Dipper would feel dead to you. It feels very lively to me.
  14. So Battle 3 is on sale

I have a few sheets of Battle 2 provincial. They are quite grippy and look high quality, but they are slower and less bouncy than Bloom Power, Big Dipper, or Jupiter 3. Have you tried Bloom and do you like it?
  15. Anybody like Bluestorm Z1 Turbo?

Nobody likes this rubber? I notice it has the highest speed rating on Revspin so somebody out there must love it, but to me it is not very fast. Dignics 05 and Hammond Z2 are also 50d sponges, but they feel a lot more bouncy and fast to me than Z1Turbo.
  16. Boost Your Level in 2023

In regards to evaluation, I notice that I often whiff balls, especially when I play higher level players. What can I do to avoid whiffing balls? I think its especially common on whiffing opening loops.
  17. Blade edge pinches middle finger on BH

Question about sanding off the wings: If you are sanding a outer-alc blade, should you try to avoid sanding the alc layer? If you sand that alc, will the threads of the weave come undone and become messy?
  18. Anybody like Bluestorm Z1 Turbo?

Anybody play with this rubber or like this rubber? It's a very attractive cool looking rubber, and supposedly one of the more modern ESN offerings with latest technology. I imagine it should be something similar to Victas 22 or MXP50. I tried it recently on my friend's brand new racket, but...
  19. Hammond Z2 compared to Fastarc G1

Definitely I would choose the Z2. It's the more unique rubber I think. G1 is the very standard benchmark ESN rubber. It's basically similar to other offerings from ESN. So it comes down to you. Do you want the more unique standout rubber, or the standard no-risk rubber.
  20. Why does my V-14 Pro feel so heavy?

If anything it's handle heavy. It has a thick handle, and a relatively small head.
