  1. Am in the wrong or is this super annoying to everyone else as well?

I'm fairly certain that that kind of side talk is illegal in a match under the official rules. You are within your rights to not be distracted during gameplay.
  2. Experience with some other Loki rubbers - Arthur China, GTX Pro (inc)

Unless we can test it with a slo-mo camera measuring rev/min, it may simply seem like H3 is the spinniest because it is slower. It may be the spin to speed ratio we are feeling rather than absolute spin.
  3. Yinhe star player Yin Hang vs Korean womens player

That was an amazing match. Learned a thing or two. What I want to know is the final scores.
  4. Experience with some other Loki rubbers - Arthur China, GTX Pro (inc)

I have never played Jun ZLC so I don't know but the LAC definitely suits the Long 5, Long 5 Light and similar blades for me. A broken in H3 Neo and Long 5 is a very good match but the LAC just makes it even easier to play with.
  5. Experience with some other Loki rubbers - Arthur China, GTX Pro (inc)

This is exactly why Arthur China is my FH rubber of choice now. Life is too short to have to boost and then wait for it to uncurl some and to risk bubbles and then remove to reboost. It's like the perfected version of H3 Neo (the prototypical Chinese tacky) for me.
  6. Slow blade with fast rubbers vs. Fast blade with slow rubbers

I have Butterfly's fastest and probably one of the slowest blades, the Sardius and original black tag Kong Linghui (non special) and a bunch of other blades in between. Neither of those two setups are right for me with either slow or fast rubbers. The magic is finding the middle ground. You want...
  7. Experience with some other Loki rubbers - Arthur China, GTX Pro (inc)

Nope, I draw the line on Blue/Pink :>, but seriously I was only looking for a faster alternative to H3N for the FH and was not really interested in Loki's other offerings after the initial research. I'm happy with non-tacky ESN or Hammond Z2 for my BH.
  8. Dynaryz AGR / Hammond Z2 :Shrinkage

Any rubber will experience shrinkage if they were rolled on with pressure during assembly with the blade. I don't remember any shrinkage in any rubber I have used once including the Z2 I stopped putting pressure on the roller and only gently rolled the rubber on. Only after the rubber is...
  9. Suggestion needed for Jr player

I'm playing the Long 5 Light myself albeit with a tennis grip wrap for the handle. It is much better in control for me than the regular Long 5 that I also own. It is pretty amazing now that I can loop all those underspin returns and floating serves both FH and BH with a higher percentage. It is...
  10. New blade??

Maybe what you need is a change in mindset. Many times you can win by spin and placement instead of power. You don't have to force your stroke. Look at how Timo Boll plays. Many times he is not as powerful as his opponents but he keeps the ball in with spin until he gets the point. He also works...
  11. Experience with some other Loki rubbers - Arthur China, GTX Pro (inc)

It feels faster than the BD, has good enough spin to surprise my opponents if I adjust my loop for less speed, and most importantly the crispy feel which I prefer to the gummy jelly of the other rubbers.
  12. Experience with some other Loki rubbers - Arthur China, GTX Pro (inc)

I'm surprised Loki Arthur China is not an even bigger deal than it is. It's fast, spinny, tacky and it is so crisp compared anything I've tried from DHS. IMO it suits me better than H3N, H8, H8-80, Big Dipper and Battle 2 Max, some (H3N, BD, B2) which feel like dull jelly to me. I just ordered...
  13. Anybody ever fixed air bubble on topsheet?

You can try to fix it just as a learning experience but I don't think it will be very successful. You will probably need some very specific type of glue to make the bond work. Something that will more or less bond the sponge and pip permanently and regular latex glue will not cut it. It's simply...
  14. Why PrinceTT never answer emails?

I ordered a blade in March, there is a tracking number but it seems to be sitting in shipping limbo. Probably in a container somewhere or something. The price you pay for the low price is the lack of communication and the feeling you may never get what you ordered. Unless you are a poor and...
  15. How much the blade determines your control, speed, spin?

The blade is the basis, the platform on which your game sits. It plays a huge role on the feel of control and speed. It also contributes to the feeling of dwell which affects the perception of spin you can get from the racket but the rubber has the most to do with spin.
  16. using a razor blade to cut the rubber

If you want pro results, use what tabletennis11 themselves use to cut rubbers when they assemble rackets: an 18mm snap blade utility knife. You can get an Olfa and some of those black extra sharp spare blades and I can tell you from personal experience they work as intended if you are careful...
  17. Preliminary test on how much does TT rubber and TT balls compress

This is very interesting. Brokenball, you may want to host your videos on some other dedicated video hosting site as it seems slow and the folks trying to get to your videos may internet hug your site to death.
  18. Focus exhaustion

You see how those well trained and conditioned top pro players sweat during their matches? Yes, table tennis when played at a high level is very tiring. As others have mentioned, stay hydrated possibly with sports drinks like how the pros do it during the breaks between games. Make sure you plan...
  19. Are Lebrun brothers just developing a permanent reputation for bad sportsmanship?

The point should have been a let. The umpire had no backbone and was there just as decoration. You can tell by her reaction or more accurately non-reaction. Chos after winning every point was definitely not the norm and you can thank the Chinese National team for encouraging it in their...
  20. Does sweat getting into the handle of the blade really increases its weight?

Treat your blade handle with Watco Danish Oil. Follow the instructions on the tin. It will take a few days for the slight fishy smell to go away as it tends to dry slowly but it should help with the sweat soak issue. I do it to all my new blades and the advantage of the boiled linseed oil based...
