  1. Westchester Table Tennis?

True, and the lack of a national and state system means you don't have a pyramidal structure to growing players and the sport. I like the ability to go to a nice TT-only facility with 16 tables and many players anytime during the day here, but it doesn't make up for the quality free small...
  2. Westchester Table Tennis?

That's cool you live near La Romagne! I used to drive 2 hours to attend pro matches at Hennebont, saw Boll, Pitchford, Freitas, Falck, Assar, Karlsson, Franziska, Jorgic, Ruiz and many more play in the old cramped up hall, and moved back to the US before they opened their new state-of-the-art...

What year is your Provincial Letters?
  4. Ultimate battle between Viscaria and W968

Golden Vis is easy to resell, but it's super expensive, like the price of a 968 #1-3. I was lucky to find/buy a used for for 1/3 of the price, and a new one for 1/2.
  5. Ultimate battle between Viscaria and W968

Really!? Mine were soft with so much flex, the blade is only 5.5mm with limba top ply.
  6. Ultimate battle between Viscaria and W968

    Yes, National numbers, July 2022.
  7. Ultimate battle between Viscaria and W968

eBay used is more expensive than new. Even a Provincial Letters used is more than a National new.

But hey, if the FZD is satisfying, I wouldn't change. You could also consider an Acoustic Carbon if you haven't tried that yet.

  10. Westchester Table Tennis?

Again it's a close suburb of NYC, it's bound to attract a lot of people living in a 1-2 hour radius of it which is a lot of people, far more than the few you think you'd get out of 8000 residents. I use to drive 1 hour during rush hour to get to LATTA from Echo Park, now takes me 25-30 minutes...
  11. Ultimate battle between Viscaria and W968

Gen seems to say the National has a bigger handle than the Provincial, also like many others that it is more crisp. Mine feels just as crisp as a Viscaria without the metallic vibrations.
  12. Ultimate battle between Viscaria and W968

I'll have to check when I put my H3 on it next week, but it doesn't feel large, feels compact and not head heavy.
  13. Westchester Table Tennis?

Enough players can get to Westchester, it's as simple as that. Of course it’s harder if you live further out. Clubs in the burbs of large cities tend to do well, you get enough people and the international crowd.
  14. Westchester Table Tennis?

It’s still the burbs of NYC and rents are crazy in the city. All it takes is some people with enough money to make a real investment in the sports. Most clubs in Europe including professional ones are « in the middle of nowhere ».
  15. DHS W968 review

    Same!
  16. Ovtcharov ALC vs other similarly constructed blades

I don't know about controllable but it's definitely hard and fast. My 2300 friend kinda regrets buying it for these reasons.
  17. Westchester Table Tennis?

It's one of the biggest clubs in the country and they often throw big tournaments with big cash prizes, they even invite foreign players from time to time. A few USA national team members train there as well as ex-provincial players from China... All DHS rainbow tables, the very best!
  18. DHS W968 review

Yea, I've never felt my ability to transition what as good as when I play with the 968.
