  1. Can someone tell me a bit about the DHS 3002?

Any Chinese rubber. Butterfly rubbers, especially softer ones like Rozena, will have issues removing any glue. Best to go with a harder denser Chinese rubber. Cold. If you use hot air you might affect the sponge in some way. Some people might like this but I would avoid it if I were you. Seems...

Ah, that is where you made your mistake: using Rozena rubbers
  3. Can someone tell me a bit about the DHS 3002?

The best option for glue is DHS no. 15. I put one layer on the blade and two layers on the rubber. I'm not sure how it affects the performance, but you can peel it off very easily and that's why I like it. If you ever want to change / reglue your rubbers, you should get DHS no. 15. Most other...
  4. 1-ply Hinoki with sticky rubber?

This would be amazing if you can control it. I imagine it's nice on 5-ply, but for 1-ply it may be too fast. I've tried Tibhar Hybrid K3 and Dignics 09c on 1-ply hinoki and couldn't control it at all. Unfortunately no :( but I still really like it and haven't found anything better. I can pick...
  5. 1-ply Hinoki with sticky rubber?

I use 1-ply hinoki blades with Chinese rubber and I LOVE the feeling. I've also tried Rasanter R45 on it and it didn't feel nearly as good. I could see Mark V being a good choice, but I'd really encourage you to try Chinese rubbers. Chinese rubbers really let you grab the ball for a long time...

This is the Dignics 09c substitute that you have been looking for! This rubber can actually compete with Hurricane 3! This is a proper hybrid rubber with amazing playing qualities. I tried this rubber on a Ma Lin Extra Offensive blade with Hurricane 3 on the other side, and I tried using it on...
  7. Dignics 09c

Review by 'greenbeanmachine' on item 'Dignics 09c'

Allow me to start by saying that this is probably a really good rubber... for professionals. But for amateurs I think most of us are not good enough to take advantage of it. I wanted to see what the hype was about, so I bought a sheet of this rubber (for way too much money) and was not so...
  8. Nittaku Miyabi

Review by 'greenbeanmachine' on item 'Nittaku Miyabi'

Nittaku Miyabi has a lot of nice qualities. This was my main blade for a long time, and currently I am still using it for about half of my playing time. I have this blade in cpen, jpen, and handshake (FL) but mostly I use the cpen. I started as a jpen player, and I really like the feeling of...
  9. Feedback on my loops against backspin

Some pointers: - Use your legs. All of your stroke is coming from your arms. - Open your racket more - Focus on making a slow brushing loop. You're trying to smack the ball really fast, which is too advanced for you at this point. Just try to put the ball on the table, and do it slowly. Also...
  10. Can someone tell me a bit about the DHS 3002?

Loki Rxton are pretty good rubbers for the price. Yinhe Big Dipper and Friendship Battle II are even better if you can manage a bit higher price. For the blade you should try DHS Power G7 -- it's good for learning and you can play with it at a very high level.
  11. Wanted- Kiso Hinoki Blade

I just posted a thread of my 1-ply hinoki blades for sale: https://www.tabletennisdaily.com/forum/topics/for-sale-1-ply-kiso-hinoki-blades-jpen-cpen-fl.34230/
  12. Wanted- Kiso Hinoki Blade

All Darker Speed 90 is discontinued? Wow.
  13. Wanted- Kiso Hinoki Blade

Sounds good. I recommend using Chinese rubber like Hurricane 3 or Skyline 2 or Big Dipper.
  14. Stiga Dynasty Carbon (Xu Xin)

Update: I want to add a comment about caring for this blade. You really need to sand and lacquer this blade (in that order). At least 2-3 layers. I did two thin layers of lacquer and still pulled off some chunks of wood when changing rubbers. The outer layers are very thin, so be very careful...
  15. For sale: 1-ply kiso hinoki blades (jpen, cpen, FL)

I have a few 1-ply hinoki blades for sale. I used to play jpen style, so I developed a love for the kiso hinoki wood and carried it with me as I learned to play with other grips. Currently I am using Nittaku Miyabi cpen as my primary blade and I don't see myself going back to the others, so I...
  16. Wanted- Kiso Hinoki Blade

Oh, you want an extra Miyabi? I'm in the USA so shipping costs might be a lot. I'm still happy to send it if you cover shipping. I'd ask for $100 USD.
  17. Wanted- Kiso Hinoki Blade

I have Nittaku Miyabi in flare grip. It's almost new -- I played with it for only one practice session. No dents or anything, but I did slightly sand the wings (only enough to remove the sharp edge). I originally bought this blade because I wanted to be comfortable with the handshake grip, but...

Hi, which grip style are you looking for? jpen, cpen, or handshake?
  19. Help with DHS Skyline

Yeah those are some fair points. Lots of people prefer softer rubbers, and lots of coaches will tell you to play with a softer rubber if you are a beginner. Especially if you have a weaker side (for most people this is the backhand), coaches will advise the use of a softer rubber. If you have a...
  20. Help with DHS Skyline

Skyline NEO is boosted, and the boosting chemicals degrade the rubber. If you want the rubber to last for a long time, you should get the non-NEO version. Personally I am a big fan of the Skyline series. I use Skyline 2 on both sides, though I will probably change to Skyline 3 on backhand after...
