  1. Daily Table Tennis Chit Chat

Played yesterday and I think I'm getting used to the new setup. I was having problem brushing the ball previously. However yesterday I compared bouncing the ball between SPW / Rakza and IF ZLC / Tenergy and for some reason I get way more vibration on the IF ZLC, a faster 7 ply composite blade...
  2. Butterfly Tiago Apolonia ZLC Blade Review!

Hey dan, are there any plan to review the new eternity VPS and Genesis M? Some people are saying they're good and I'm curious to see your impression about it
  3. Is over celebrating a problem in table tennis?

I think by asian culture standard, what Ma Long did when he won against Fang Bo is more impolite compared to what ZJK did when he won the olympic. Most probably it's just the sponsor whining to ITTF over their logo on the barrier being kicked
  4. Tables for tournaments?

Contacting Joola or Killerspin might be a good option. They sponsor a lot of the tournaments around the US
  5. Is over celebrating a problem in table tennis?

I find "cho"ing over opponents mistake is rude in the first place unless you're playing on your last set. You should be celebrating for a good ball that you did on your own, not some lucky rally that you got because of some mistake.
  6. pls recommend FH rubber for Timo Boll Spirit

EL-P perhaps? Omega V Tour might work as well
  7. Daily Table Tennis Chit Chat

Played in my temporary "usual" place on tuesday. The place mostly consists of seniors and so I can't really ask people around to help me on drills. Nonetheless it's better to be able to play than to lose all the touches and muscle memory Got really pissed off before I went back home. A guy...
  8. Butterfly Tiago Apolonia ZLC Blade Review!

I've never played carbonado, but in comparison to other carbon blades such as MJ SZLC or TBS, it feels really woody and vibrates a lot more. However, once you start to hit harder, you can feel the carbon stiffened up the blade and the power really comes through. One aspect of innerforce is its...
  9. new human conflict situation

My suggestion ofc is to record yourself doing serves and then we can see whether you're hiding it or not. As for not saying sorry about ball hitting the net, I know in some countries people don't do it but at least it's a custom to do something like that in US. I'd say just try to accustom...
  10. Butterfly Tiago Apolonia ZLC Blade Review!

Well you still have the innerforce layer ZLC, I think it's the same thing as the old Innerforce ZLC.

Anyone who could, has the potential to be the next ma long
  12. JediJesseS development, recommendations for slowing down

While it is generally more recommended for beginners to start with softer sponge, it applies more for tensor rubbers such as comparing Tenergy 05 to Vega Europe. Chinese rubbers are entirely different story. They require good footwork and good swing with proper power. Although they're hard...
  13. JediJesseS development, recommendations for slowing down

A beginner should not use carbonado 190 in the first place. It's way too fast anf uncontrollable. A good 5 ply would be blades like korbel, offensive S, or stratus power wood. These blades are classic limba-limba-ayous For the rubber, I'd recommend something like bluefire M2 or evolution...
  14. Why do professional players moan when hitting the ball?

People who does that or any kind of tricks just to win a match shouldn't even play sports in the first place. Those type of people disgusts me to no end.
  15. Why do professional players moan when hitting the ball?

It's indeed part of a culture. For the chinese, grunting might be seen as a disturbance and impolite. Japanese on the other hand has this passion when they're excited. You can see how Japanese team are amongst the loudest teams when they cheer for their teammates.
  16. Best rubbers Timo Boll Spark

Rakza 7, Bluefire M2, Tibhar EL-P, Airoc Astro M, Genesis M All these medium to medium hard rubbers play pretty damn similar. I'm using R7 and have EL-P, EL-P is probably better if you want something that feels like tenergy
  17. Daily Table Tennis Chit Chat

Bought the SPW yesterday, got the FL one, 88-89gr for the weight. Originally I intended to use the tenergys i have but the head size is much bigger than my IF ZLC especially around the neck area. Hence, I decided to get Rakza 7 on both sides. Most of the high-end tensors are good enough for me...
  18. What rubber should i use on my BH?

You're already using tenergy, unless you dont want to keep on paying for it, just stick with tenergy
  19. Daily Table Tennis Chit Chat

I think if it's as fast as acoustic I would be pretty comfortable with it. When I used acoustic, the better control that I had was apparent
  20. Daily Table Tennis Chit Chat

Looking at Carl's and NextLevel's suggestions, I decided to buy a SPW. While I do have offensive S, frankly the FL handle on it is pretty uncomfortable. Most probably I'll get used to it after a month or two. As for the rubbers, it would be a waste not to use the tenergys while they're still...
