  1. Waldner serve series (tribute)

I guess "constructive and negative feedback" are not as welcome as the OP suggested.
  2. Evolution Fx-p vs Rasant Grip???

I prefer the arc of fx-p though Grip is the more advanced rubber.
  3. Tenergy 05 vs Tenergy 64 backhand (plastic ball era)

T05FX, T80 and T80FX are all options as well. I know people with excellent BHs who use them with the plastic ball. Me, I am sticking with MX-P on a slower blade.
  4. Blade size?

Blades often have different sizes depending on the design. You have to know the two particular blades to be sure.
  5. Is there a vast difference in 'FEEL' between the different arylate carbon blades?

Don't worry about it. I wouldn't pay that much for a blade unless it was a collector's item from a top player unless they cut the money out of my fighting hand while I was dying.
  6. Is there a vast difference in 'FEEL' between the different arylate carbon blades?

How much do you want for it, Shuki? What's the weight?
  7. Is there a vast difference in 'FEEL' between the different arylate carbon blades?

I tried the black tag Viscaria of a club member - felt so much different and better.
  8. My pendulum and reverse pendulum serve variations akin to Zhang jike!

It seems that Carl and you are speaking past each other. The reason why you finish on the same side of your body for the most part is to hold the line of sight with the ball for as long as possible. When you finish across your body, there are minimum height requirements (somewhere above the...
  9. Why doesn't Tim boll's FH and BH drives look attractive and effective in matches?

Timo Boll also subtly changes the length and size of his movement but not as much as others given his focus on spin. He is predominantly a spin player and developed his style in the era of the 38mm ball. The feature of his style that translated to the 40mm ball era was the close to the table...
  10. Why doesn't Tim boll's FH and BH drives look attractive and effective in matches?

I really don't understand this at all. Can you give examples of where his strokes are not effective? Timo Boll tends to crush pretty much every one he plays who has not been a top 10 player before with a few exceptions. If you are saying that his strokes are so powerful that no one should...
  11. My pendulum and reverse pendulum serve variations akin to Zhang jike!

You need coaching but you need to find a coach who has experience developing adult beginners. Coaches who mostly develop junior beginners don't tend to understand what it takes to get through to an adult as kids are more like sponges. Adults you usually have to have good stories to keep them...
  12. My pendulum and reverse pendulum serve variations akin to Zhang jike!

You are doing very well for how long you have played. While there are technical fixes you can make (avoid finishing the stroke across your body too early on your forehand is one), these are all things that come with time. Do you get coaching?
  13. Why are Evolution rubbers still less popular than tenergy?

Yes, 1.9. I plan to try out 2.1 later, but I doubt it will make me play any better. I know at least one good player (2300+) who uses Tenergy in 1.9mm, so these things can be very overrated/misconceived.
  14. Is there a vast difference in 'FEEL' between the different arylate carbon blades?

I think people should look at the Double Day ALC Loop King and the Double Day ALC Winner. I used to think the Loop King handle was too thin but I love it now with grip tape. I have never tried the Winner since I dislike Koto but if it is anything like the Loop King, it sure is a Winner.
  15. Pro Players And Sponsorship: What Do You Think

The reason why Stiga compromises with FZD is that he is FZD - he sells equipment at a level that false appearances are worth the trouble. The reason why they didn't compromise with the players you mentioned are that they are lower level pros/hobbyists. And if you don't use Butterfly stuff...
  16. Pro Players And Sponsorship: What Do You Think

Honestly, the real disruptor is the speed glue change and Tenergy (05). If Tenergy wasn't so vastly superior to the other offerings from other rubber manufacturers, things wouldn't be so bad.
  17. Why are Evolution rubbers still less popular than tenergy?

I am trying out both Baracuda and MX-P - I am still trying to reach a hard conclusion as to which is better. But I am playing fairly well so these are all small things.
  18. Around-the-net-Compilation

Yep. You don't have to tell me for me to see that. If he looped once, I would be picking up the ball more often than not.
