  1. Soft rubber suggestion

I would add EL-P to the list, one of the softest I used. Also Vega EU, Rakza 7 Soft.
  2. Coached vs un-coached player

Coached or not does not matter. Playing nice top spins by the book top spins does not guarantee wins. The only thing that guarantees the win is getting the ball bounce on the other half of the table. What one might consider "by the book technique" is just what we consider the most efficient way...
  3. Reputable Chinese websites to buy original blades and rubbers

OP asked for store, not manufacturers. Just saying.
  4. Need advice on equipment

Fastarc G1 is not that heavy and works well on FH. Xiom Omega V Asia or Tour might also work. I would suggest checking the wieght yourself. For BH I really really love Gewo ElPro 48
  5. ovtcharovs new blade

I am not a big fan of him personally, but he has a very nice taste of blades. I will probably get the Butterfly version later just out of curiosity. I am pretty sure that, whichever blade OP picks, he will have a great time.
  6. Xiom Omega 7 Hyper and Vega X

I played with this rubber on FH for some time, but it spent most of the time in the bag. For the love of god, this rubber does not fare well with time. After a year of being glued (stored with a protective adhesive sheet) this feels like a re-heated old cutlet. Feels terrible. I tried reboosting...
  7. ovtcharovs new blade

Mkay, everything makes sense. The core is thicker on the Butterfly blade.
  8. ovtcharovs new blade

That is a fine collection. How does handle of No.1 Senso compare to the Butterlfy version?
  9. ovtcharovs new blade

I would go as far that No.1 Senso just a very good higher-end version of DHS Long 5 commercial. The ball feeling is just so much better than the normal version (I've got both Senso and non-Senso version).
  10. Dignics rubber

The only thing I can say about those rubbers is that some of them seemed to crack the sponges.
  11. A rubber recommendation for something with tacky top sheet and eu style sponge?

Joola Tango PS. Great for BH. Quite springy and soft despite sponge hardness rating.
  12. DHS pg6x, pg3t, 301t, pg5x, 301 and 506 x what are the differences?

BTW, when looking at Long 5 clones, consider Donic Ovtcharov/Original No.1, they are very very very close (you can find one of my threads when I compared No.1 Senso to Long 5 based on dimensions). They are not that much cheaper though.
  13. DHS pg6x, pg3t, 301t, pg5x, 301 and 506 x what are the differences?

Add Pro-Feeling to that list as well. The issue I have with Yinhe is a severe lack of details for us EJs (am I an EJ if I had not changed equipment last year?). I tried to figure out the top ply of the 970XX for a long while. Yinhe has a lot of different Viscaria like blades, but I have not...
  14. DHS pg6x, pg3t, 301t, pg5x, 301 and 506 x what are the differences?

When I had mine, I just applied very thin layer of sealant. I still managed to nick it, but nothing really really bad happened even after 3 rubber changes.
  15. NEW SEASON BEGINS! TableTennisDaily Team | TTDSL 2021 Ep 1

I was trying to find your team on British league site, to see in which division you are. It says that TTD did not re-enter for 2021/22. Are you going to continue competing?
  16. What table tennis rubbers & blade do you use?

After a lot of playing with tackies on the FH, I switched to thick and stiff grippy rubbers. It feels like poop. But I win more points with more players. So if anyone is using 40 degree hurricane, it might be a hint. Blade: Ovtcharov No.1 Senso BH: Gewo 48 FH: Vega X / Fastarc G1
  17. Good table tennis shoes brand for indoor and outdoor on hard floor

I've used Asics Rockets and Blades. Both of them are great, but I would rather recommend the latter. Half of my club uses them.
  18. ovtcharovs new blade

True carbon inner has following composition: Technology: 7 plies of Kiri (inner), Hybrid Aramid Carbon (3+5), Ayous (2&6), Koto (1&7, outer) And the no.1 senso has ayous core and limba outer.
  19. ovtcharovs new blade

I've used selection of rubbers on that blade, a bunch of Chinese stuff, Tenergy 05, Battle 2 40 Prov, Yinhe Moon, 729 Spin, and whatnot. Of all rubbers, actually the Moon I liked the most. Now the owner uses Omega V Asia on that and it is pretty sweet. Also, I think that the Gewo El Pro 48 would...
  20. ovtcharovs new blade

It should be quite good. This blade likes tacky stuff. When it comes to backhand I've used only Gewo EL Pro 48 and Victas 1-Stiff, and much preferred the first one. I think that Acuda should be just fine.
