  1. ovtcharovs new blade

I think he actually did. I would have to dig for some photos to confirm it or deny it though.
  2. ovtcharovs new blade

I would rather say that it requires a lot of effort to work properly. If that means a longer stroke with less accel or shorter with harder accel, that is up to you. It requires more power from the body, but I was able to put much more pace and spin into the balls than with Innerforce Layer ALC...
  3. ovtcharovs new blade

I think that the question to ask is how it is different from Butterfly Innerforce Layer ALC. If someone answers that for you I can say that the Innerforce rewards more of a hitting approach, while Donic Ovtcharov No.1 Senso is all day looping machine, and hits does not feel as well as good as on...

  5. Getting back into TT properly with the DHS Neo Hurricane 3

I will add a bit from myself. After efin COVID I gave up on the tacky hard rubbers and ended up with Nittakusan G1. I am pretty sure that I do not have to put so much effort into balls after transitioning to G1 and I still got a similar feeling to tacky rubbers. Not the same, balls are not as...
  6. I cannot win

Sorry for a rather short and quite laconic answer. I think it would beneficial to see you play, that way people good give tailored advice. One of the most (if not the most) important parts of the game is the serve and the serve receive. It dictates everything else that is going to happen...
  7. I cannot win

    Learn serves and basic tactics.
  8. Want to know? what is the fastest blade on this earth

I would argue that the fastest blade is probably a frying pan. Good stiffness and very heavy. Easy to generate loads of speed due to high mass. Not technically legal and poor rubber compatibility (depending on the pan choice) due to sizing.
  9. mid tacky hard forehand rubber

Tango PS is not that tacky and it has very springy top sheet. I would not use that on FH.
  10. mid tacky hard forehand rubber

    Isn't Donic Bluegrip roughly that?
  11. Best rubber for $30-$35 ?

  12. How to remove glue from old blade

More important, want kind of glue is it? Speed glue? Contact cement? WBG (was it even a thing back then?)?
  13. How to remove glue from old blade

Rub it with a TT ball.
  14. Ebony Blades ?

Also Xiom Omega Tour blade. One of the few blades which uses the ebony inside.
  15. How to review a blade properly?

That why I said that the only way to evaluate a blade is to actually play with it. And I will agree that unfortunately talking with people in the club and swapping setups is the only possible way of finding the right gear. Or just buying thin Clipper... That thing is so universal...
  16. How to review a blade properly?

That is another issue I have with blades. The speed is not a single number or a position in a chart. From my experience, it is more of a function of user input. Please summon brokenball here, because I do not know If I am right or just imagining things. Sorry for the comparison, but I have...
  17. How to review a blade properly?

Based on my experience that grain of salt should be quite big. Imho reviews should be a rough guideline. Kind of like 80 grit sandpaper. You ain't gonna get mirror finish with it, but it does remove a lot of unwanted material. Imho reviews should only be a very very rough guideline to what you...
  18. How to review a blade properly?

The thing I am most annoyed by the TT blades reviews is that they are mostly done on a sample size of 1. They are mostly wooden. Wood is not always grown the same. When you buy the same model blade you have no guarantee the blade will feel the same. Having a bigger sample size would be nice...
