  1. Which cleaner do you like?

I would stay away from alcohol, but I am using a cleaner (Dandoy bio cleaner) now for 6 months. It actually revived my bloom power and I got some tackiness back. My H3 provincial hasn’t taken any damage whatsoever yet. What I see is that plain water is not enough in the long run and one drop of...
  2. Do you have a pro player copycat setup?

Nope, absolutely not. I am myself… The only blade I have (14 total) with a pro attach to it is a Primorac carbon, and this was given to me… Cheers L-zr
  3. Comeback rubber recommendations?

I know that the Appelgren is a pretty slow blade so if You when you were playing were at a decent level go for Rakza 7. I think Mark V on that blade is for beginners today. It’s not a bad bad rubber You can get good spin with it but it is very slow. I don’t know the Waldner blade but my guess...
  4. Butterfly Innerforce layer ALC-flared

That damage is not degrading the blade function Dudley squat as long as it does not delaminate. I would glue something on there and sand it level… Cheers L-zr
  5. Skills to beat 1400-1500 level players?

I’m not sure I agree, I can’t slice wort a damn and my push is not really spinny. I actually have a better offensive forehand chop. But that’s probably just the moment of surprise, You don’t get opportunities often. My training buddy kills my openings with a smash quite often, so now always...
  6. Skills to beat 1400-1500 level players?

Sounds like one of my training partners. During trading he plays normal, but in games it’s mainly pushing until he has to snapshot, forehand or backhand.. In a game almost never a heavy loop, Cheers L-zr
  7. What is difference between Chinese and European loop

Hurricane has a weakness from position 3, and Tenergy in the short game. I don’t spend much time at position 3 but do quite a lot of short game… Cheers L-zr
  8. Returning to TT after 20 yrs, blade/rubber advice

Exactly what I said. Hybrid MK has trace of tackiness my H3 prov absolutely none. Cheers L-zr
  9. Bloom Power on FH, Bloom ? on BH

No my friend Bloom power is definitely one of them. It’s waaay too slow for BH. Cheers L-zr
  10. What is difference between Chinese and European loop

Yes I agree with You can, if you mean high trajectory and lots of spin. Not too difficult, just need a good brushing action. But generally a faster ball is more lethal… Hurricane works excellent for both types of strokes. Cheers L-zr
  11. Bloom Power on FH, Bloom ? on BH

Mocker, which Chinese rubber would you recommend for someone who likes some speed with a fair amount of catapult? Cheers L-zr
  12. Returning to TT after 20 yrs, blade/rubber advice

Glazer has plenty of spin, but not as accessible as Tenergy. It’s a double edged sword, Tenergy is easy to create spin with but is also very reactive to incoming spin…. With G09C you need to brush the ball more and of course hit harder. If Your BH is harder than your FH you have a great...
  13. Returning to TT after 20 yrs, blade/rubber advice

My last Hybrid MK was actually more tacky than my last H3 provincial… strange ??? Cheers L-zr
  14. Butterfly Grubba Carbon FL question

It is OK, the blade is a little old but it should still be OK if it’s been stored in a dry place. Does the rubbers need to be butterfly? If You are a beginner go cheap. For a beginner between those two I would select Rozena. Cheers L-zr
  15. Dwell Time .....

But… it takes a lot more momentum to get the cue ball moving…. Cheers L-zr
  16. Bloom Power on FH, Bloom ? on BH

I like Bloom power as well, but I need something more catapulty on BH. Right now I am using Donic accuda S2. It has the right amount of catapult but is a little low on spin. Cheers L-zr
  17. What is difference between Chinese and European loop

There is no such thing. The difference is the spin/speed relation. What You call Chinese has higher a speed component. That’s why it has a lower trajectory. It still has a lot of spin that’s why it kicks more horizontal. What You call European has a lower speed component, that’s why the...
  18. Returning to TT after 20 yrs, blade/rubber advice

Sonething is wrong here. If anything T05FX is mushy, G09C definitely not. But it is a lot slower that’s true. What will happen is that T05FH will make you hit long. This will make you hesitate so your progress slows down. G09C will force You to hit harder, This way you will hesitate less and...
  19. Returning to TT after 20 yrs, blade/rubber advice

Well T05 is great for the offensive game but… in the slow game it’s a walk on a razors edge. It use win me a few points but I lost more… Cheers L-zr
  20. Returning to TT after 20 yrs, blade/rubber advice

T05FX is too soft for FH, G09C too hard for BH. Since you already have G09C why not use it on FH and get normal Glazer for BH. This will be a pretty hard bar but not lightning fast which is good. For a non tacky rubber my 1:st choice is FH Tibhar Hybrid MK. For backhand I like normal Glazer...
