  1. What kind of rubber for playing with slow backhand stroke?

I think the catapult is actually more important . Select an hardness around 45 Shore O with a little catapult, not too much. It’s hard enough to encourage You to hit harder but not too hard. I am using Donic accuda S2. When I had a similar problem I got over it with this rubber. But it’s not...
  2. Lower quality of table tennis blades - Donic

I agree and it has no effect whatsoever on the performance. I think its the same type of top layer on OP's blade. If it is not lacquered it is very vulnerable to handling, You could actually damage it with Your nails if Your not careful. A thin layer of varnish makes it much better. I like a...

  9. Downgrade bh rubber from tenergy05

I would recommend Tibhar hybrid MK. I also love T05, but the short game turns out to be a walk on a razors edge , so I had to ditch it. The solution is a rubber with less catapult , You will not get the sensation of firing canon balls, but it has almost as much spin… Cheers L-zr
  10. Donic Bluestar A2 Test

I use accuda and accuda blue as my BH standard rubber. It lasts as long as anything else… I seriously doubt that the ESN rubbers are significantly different from each other… Cheers K-zr

Slow down your equipment… On BH, elbow forward and the racket in front of your belly. Cheers L-zr
  13. Which is better value for money Tenergy 05 or Dignics 05?

Probably Blue Sponge, nothing worse I think. 😉 Cheers L-zr
  15. Which is better value for money Tenergy 05 or Dignics 05?

When a rubber has higher spin and lower arc, it means that you need to hit harder to get to that high spin… Of course a ball with higher speed will have flatter trajectory given the same spin… That it has access to higher spin doesn’t necessarily means it comes easy… Cheers L-zr
  16. Septear lead + H3 blue sponge provincial 40 : Need advice

Go ahead and try boosting, now for the Christmas break it’s the perfect time. It’s not difficult. Just let it go back to near its original shape or it will be hell to glue. That’s the only thing. It could take anything from 2 days up to a week. Cheers L-zr
  17. Septear lead + H3 blue sponge provincial 40 : Need advice

Haven’t tried, but I would boost it. It’s probably gonna be too hard and dead otherwise. Cheers L-zr
  18. Septear lead + H3 blue sponge provincial 40 : Need advice

I did, but lightly, only two thin layer of sea moon. But the orange sponge reacts exceptionally well to sea moon so I had to wait a few days before gluing… The 39 orange isn’t that hard so I could see myself using this without booster… Cheers L-zr
  19. Septear lead + H3 blue sponge provincial 40 : Need advice

Plenty of speed if you can hit hard. I play with a slower blade and prob orange 39. I can get all the speed I want on FH. On BH I need something with a little more catapult. Cheers L-zr
