Hari-boy clearly confused.

Some Chinese players can't use D05 on the forehand (they prefer Hurricane) but Harimoto can. Some of them might find D05 too fast on backhand as well. So the point is not just at our level. That said, there is a physics to this stuff and it isn't all feeling. But players below a certain...

Kuai Man has already answered that question. Beating China is not the only standard. Korea(s), Germany, Hong Kong and Chinese Taipei also have serious plans so let us see how it all plays out. North Korea and Germany are especially interesting wild cards.

And Harimoto's record against Felix especially and Truls secondarily? Beating China isn't everything as Felix. Hugo and Truls have proven - you have to beat everyone else in front of you as well.

Yeah, but i am not as convinced of this as I used to be. After all, we have Gozo, who is enamored with rocket launcher hinoki bazookass. He is used to playing with it, likes playing with it, and isn't in the mood to use something else. It is possible to use blades that are too slow just as it...

You are so full of it. The medal that got the bonus, Wang Yidi wasn't involved as well? Sun Yingsha having lost to PRK KKY and pulling out of the singles and not looking good in her next full event, was 100%? Hirano beat Chen Xingtong, who was the China #5 and only summoned because of the...

And Felix as well. The contests do not encourage much confidence, though it looks like Harimoto should be more competitive. Harimoto's current top 5 is more about ML and FZD retirement than something we didn't see last year so far. He has to do something we didn't see last year to get over...

These are largely players he has always beaten - beating a player you could beat before is largely uninteresting. Until he beats WCQ or Felix Lebrun in a big match for a big title, there will always be doubters. Yes he beat LSD twice but that comes with asterisks.

That's why when you make it an Asian thing or a Russian thing, I am puzzled because there are so many cultures that have individuals that don't smile unless prompted to. And Sora has a very surly personality so it is just about him, not about Asians.

Most of us can play with hardbat if you that route. It's nor so much being convinced as much as knowing whether D05 makes something about your game more effective or not than say Fastarc G1. For me it clearly does, others who it doesn't, good luck to them. Could I play with inboosted...

I don't smile either unless asked to, which I often am. The issue is not whether a person smiles or not, it is when you make it an Asian thing. Maybe it is, but i know lots of Asian players who have smiled on camera so it's weird to take that route. But maybe you bare right it is cultural.

You set a pretty high standard for the your back to be useful, I think that all you needed to make sure what that your backhand was not chopped liver for it to be useful and for you to feel comfortable that people could not go to it routinely to escape your forehand. People sense the difference...

@pongfugrasshopper has a good point, you persist in acting like Hayata has no medals with her bad management and Miu Hirano has won every medal under the sun with her good management. One would never know that outside of team events, the last big singles medal Hirano won is now approaching over...

Manush has looked ready to be Indian #1 for a while now, just has to be more consistent. Sora has grand smashes, he will be fine.

Hmmm... let's just say that all 3 rubbers play similarly (spinny with high arc) but yet differently enough (sponge hardness, ball release/tackiness) that that a player should not like all three equally but should notice clear differences that make one clearly better or one clearly worse than the...

Only his playing style? :P

Yangzi had close matches with Miwa (3-2) and Mima (3-2). She was due.

I remember when Tenergy 05 first came out, there was a guy who used to use Andro Hexer and said he couldn't use Tenergy 05 and that he got more spin out of Hexer. He later switched to Tenergy 05 Hard when that came out, and also later switched blades. I have used Dignics 05 for a few months...

Antispin? Anyone?
