JSH is in another Nexy vid and it opens goofing off with an amateur player... in CHEOLWON... near the DMZ. I did a tourney in that gym in 2013... they give away the best rice you ever had. Vid goes into the rest of tourney with players at low, medium, and upper levels. (mostly lower level...

Here is what an amateur TT tourney in Korea looks like... costs 10 USD for singles, 10 USD for doubles, 10 USD for team event... free raffle prizes at midpoint. This vid has to Nexy sponsored Div 2 players - NATIONAL LEVEL. Typically, that is 2200-2350 USATT level. This is a university tourney...

Sister of SHW (SHY) made a cute vid of both of them going to Japan for the T-League. <iframe src="https://www.facebook.com/plugins/video.php?href=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.facebook.com%2Fwithplayerkorea%2Fvideos%2F574185679746447%2F&show_text=0&width=560" width="560" height="315"...

I have decided to support a local kid with a Nexy uniform, so he can go about the sport looking professional and later influence his school to get a TT program... Problem was... when I was getting the jersey selected, I changed my mind... and went with 4 jerseys and 2 shorts. Akul just won...

Der_Echte opens mouth sticks in foot Two FC Bayern stars have a TT challenge while Timo Boll is in the middle of the LULZ. Timo umpires part III of the challenge.

WHY do we select WHAT for equipment when a player begins TT? What's a "Right" answer? I started this thread since a very important question came up today. There are many different approaches to this and no everyone agrees... which is OK in my book. TT should not be command directed like we are...

Seo Hyo Won posted a pic and New Year Greeting on her FB. Since many have not been able to get her to friend them, I post the pic and FB link. <iframe...

Yup, you saw the title. After I made a reply in an EJ/Beginner equipment thread, I felt I needed to make this a separate topic of discussion. Admin(s) send out the Goon Squad after Der_Echte on this one. He is asking to get crushed. For those who do not know EJ = Equipment Junkie... This is a...

Like title sez, Der_Echte is gunna be in Copenhagen next week for a few days. I do not know any forum members there... any TT forumers in Copenhagen? I am guuna pack one bat, but am not expecting much action. I will have my own transportation though, so I can get around easy enough.

KJH made this vid in May 2018 right after his club got sponsored by Joola… The first couple minutes of the vid KJH spends a lot of time discussion some fundamentals many players do not think of. This part 2 of the last KJH BH fast loop vid vs underspin where he discussed a lot of good...

One of the few youtube Korean TT vids with English subtitles. Bat this one around... pun intended. S.H.Y. (Seo Hyo Young) is the sister of Korean Chopper Seo Hyo Won.

An interesting vid of SHW's sister the day before a tourney with the girls and guys...

I never really placed all the Kim Jung Hoon vids in one place, I just did a jist of them one at a time and made separate threads. KJH vids always have value in that KJH clearly communicates fundamentals, can easily spot common mistakes, and always admits there is no ONE correct answer in TT...

This is a vid of a match from 5 yrs ago. It was the 2013 DMZ Open, a national tourney open to any amateur TTer in Korea. This is Div 4... the top of this Division are 2200+ USATT... even though the division ought to have players only from 1600-1900 USATT. Enjoy. Some of you on USA East Coast...

I wrote this initially on MyTT forum, but since I do a lot of gists of KJH vids, I post it here. On MyTT, there was a discussion about how to be relaxed, so you can hit it right. Here is my post. Kim Jung Hoon has forever advocated a little more rotation and striking the ball further back. It...

Here is a vid of a match from your typical Korean Amateur TT Tourney. Note, the gym is always a city/municipal gym with upper floor seats (where your club claims a hundred of them and cooks lunch !!) Note, they all got scorekeepers, always, even if it is a player in group. Note, they coach...

I have often said Korean coaches use their forearm as a roller, now video proof of a pro shop doing it... well, the sister of a pro. She is Seo Hyo Young... sister of national player SHW the chopper. Here is how they did it right before I left Korea... with roller...
