  1. fh rubber reccomendation

You could try the Xiom TAU II. It feels like a H3N, but with more bounce. Otherwise just boost your H3N a bit with Haifu Seamoon Booster, and you get a softer feel. An alternative is to go for the H3N Provincial Orange Sponge. I just replaced my boosted H3 41deg with a H3N Prov OS 40deg, boosted...
  2. My game needs serious help

Can't see any pics attached, but I'm not sure that the grip is the problem. What about your foot work? I mean that if you have good foot work you could create good angles for all shots and placements. Now I have read about the blade "Sardius" and it feels like a really fast blade. I myself have...
  3. Light rubbers

I'm not sure your table tennis beginner sister should have a H3 as her first rubber...? It's a bit hard to use for a beginner. Check out Globe 999 instead. It's quite tacky and light weight. I had a 40 hardness in 2.0mm, and the weight was 41 grams cut. The feeling is softer than H3...
  4. Light rubbers

Palio CAT + 729 Focus III Snipe 44 deg could be perhaps around 155-160 grams, and quite cheap. Palio CAT is a soft carbon blade, but it could be good in combination with these controlled rubbers.
  5. Blade Lacquering

You should lacquer your blades just because it's water based glue.
  6. Victas Triple Double Extra review

Thanx. Great review. It's not heavier than comparable DHS rubbers then... :)
  7. H3N provincial Orange v blue sponge plus boosting

Ok. Sounds like a plan :) What about the weight? I've read that it's quite heavy.
  8. Blade Replacement - Carbon or All Wood ?

Really good to hear that you found a suiting setup for you. Regarding a little softer Rakza 7, check out the Rakza 7 Soft or one of the Andro Hexer Grip/PowerGrip series. They are really nice, spinny and controlled rubbers in various sponge hardnesses and thicknesses. A budget version of these...
  9. Loki Rubbers

Not certain, but it feels like 39/40 compared to DHS H3N sponges. Rxton III is similar, but with a slightly softer sponge, a little less spin perhaps. The Rxton III worked better for me on my forehand.
  10. Why does this happen when gluing?

It sounds like you're using too small amount of glue, or perhaps the glue is a bit old, drying up directly? I had problems with Stigas Attach Power Glue that had not been used for some months, and not too much left in the package. That didn't go so well. Now I'm using Revolution No 3 Normal...
  11. Hard vs Soft rubbers

Yep. Everything comes down to the angle, power, footwork and wrist you put into your strokes. The more you do the job, the more you could benefit from using harder Chinese rubbers. There is probably a better way to explain it... :)
  12. What's the one thing you wish you new when you first started playing table tennis?

I wish that I knew that patience meant a hundred times more patience than I thought it meant when I was new to the game at 14 years of age, and everyone I played had played the game for 5-7 years. :)
  13. 729

No sorry, but I'm quite sure of that these are new names of Geospin Tacky = GT and Geospin = GS https://revspin.net/rubber/729-geospin.html https://revspin.net/rubber/729-geospin-tacky.html
  14. Robot for training the basics

I bought a Newgy Robopong 2055 myself a year ago. It works really good. Mostly I do just forehand or just backhand, and there is a mode for these easy drills as well. And 64 built in drills, and you may alter these with a computer or create your own drills. I was looking at the cheapest...
  15. is baby oil a effective booster?

Yep. There's some delay in ordering from China since Covid outbreak, and I guess they have som stock left. And we're talking about half a year or more delay sometimes. I got this directly from their overseas sales department, because I wondered if what I heard was true about EU regulations etc.
  16. is baby oil a effective booster?

I heard from DHS that this wasn't the thing. This was some kind of marketing strategy for overseas market, and as from late 2020 they have started to use figures like 39, 40 and 41 instead of soft, medium and hard for this market as well.
  17. My newly bought racket is too fast, what can I do?

I think that the AK47 Red could be a bit bouncy for a beginner, but it takes time to adjust to new equipment. If you play the way you say with full elbow extension, swinging fast with much power I see that the AK47 Red makes the balls fly too long. Work on your touch, and don't swing like crazy...
  18. is baby oil a effective booster?

Thanx :) I just wonder if I'm allowed to glue the rubber to the blade then? :D It's a kind of treatment as well, and if it gets dirty, could I even clean it? After all it's only the top sheet being approved by the ITTF, right? Well. I'm not a top player in any way, so I don't really care so...
  19. H3 Neo National/Provincial/Commercial Differences

Sure. But it's hard to compare a boosted H3 with a Tenergy. You play in a different way with these two rubbers. I can't play any good with a bouncy Tenergy, and the brush looping game isn't working at all. The best I found for my play is a boosted H3 41deg.
  20. is baby oil a effective booster?

What I have experienced with Haifu Seamoon Booster and boosting DHS H3 41deg, Yinhe Big Dipper 38/39deg and DHS H8-80 38deg is that you, with harder sponges get a more "alive" rubber. The H8-80 is a softer rubber, so the effect isn't so big there. I guess the effect is better with harder...
