  1. DHS pg6x, pg3t, 301t, pg5x, 301 and 506 x what are the differences?

The PG5X ALC blade is very nice. I'm playing it with DHS H3 41deg and Yinhe Big Dipper 38deg, both boosted with Haifu Seamoon booster. It's not too fast, and gives me good control in the looping and short game. But never played any real matches with it so far because of Covid....
  2. Need Help Choosing First Custom Racket

I can't find your premade racket specifications anywhere. But it could be a little overkill to go with this setup after playing about a year. What exactly do you play with now?
  3. Revolution nr. 3 how many layers? Will it stick?

Bigger pores and boosted, domed rubber could need more layers, but normally 1 on blade and 2 on rubber...
  4. Loki Rubbers

Now I have tried out LOKI Arthur Europe and LOKI T3 as well. This is as you see, not a grand review, but anyway some small info about these rubbers. Arthur Europe is a bit strange. Quite tacky and you have to hit hard to engage the sponge. Then you'll get good speed and spin. Short game and...
  5. Palio hk 1997 gold

I have never received a fake H3N. Perhaps if you order a Provincial or National version, there could be a risk because there's money to earn for unserious retailers? Go for the commercial version for about $15-$20 if you want to play safe. Try these. http://ttnpp.com/store/...
  6. Palio hk 1997 gold

I've played with the Sanwei Target National. I was looking to replace my DHS H3N 41deg. STN was heavy (about 56g when cut to normal blade). The sponge and top sheet was very hard, så it was quite easy for my opponent returning my loops compared to with H3N. I wouldn't buy it again...
  7. Palio hk 1997 gold

The harder you work, the better you play :) . You reap what you sow.
  8. Palio hk 1997 gold

I found the HK1997 a bit slowish when brush looping. A rubber like DHS Hurricane 3 NEO gives a bit higher speed with the same or more spin, but then you might lose some control.
  9. more powerful rubber than Ventus Spin for Yasaka Sweden Extra

Check out Andro Hexer Grip & PowerGrip. They are a both a bit harder than Ventus Spin,, grippy and not as much catapult as the Rasanter rubbers.
  10. Welcome to TableTennisDaily 2.0 - Bug Report

Me too. It just keeps "working" and never finishes.
  11. such thing as short pips but in normal smooth?

729 has an "anti" 804. https://revspin.net/rubber/729-804.html. I haven't tried myself, but it's described like a slow, not so grippy inverted rubber. Maybe too slow for you? 729 Focus III Snipe 42/44/46deg is a cheap lightweight rubber that's not too spin sensitive...
  12. Lightweight allround blade for maximum spin? Hinoki?

Perhaps try the Palio CAT https://revspin.net/blade/palio-cat.html . I have two of them. 67 and 69 grams.
  13. Nittaku Sieger PK50

The H8 is more direct and you get more effect out of it when brushing the ball. The PK50 has a perhaps harder sponge, but the feeling is softer. I didn't get very much out of it when brushing, but there's good spin and nice control. Check out XIOM TAU II as well. It's somewhere in between these two.
  14. Different result when boosting

Sure. They are different, but not that different I think. Perhaps the H8 sponge isn't booster friendly, like the H3? All the H3/H3N/TG2/3/NEO/H8 feels similar to me. Of course they are different, but they have sort of the same function and suits similar type of play. Anyone that have recognized...
  15. Different result when boosting

Perhaps, but I had the opposite feeling with these two rubbers. I thought the non NEO version was the one with best effect.
  16. Different result when boosting

Now I boosted a DHS H3 41deg 2.15mm with three layers of Haifu Seamoon booster, and it was a totally different rubber. Really the best I ever played with on my forehand. Then I thought that it would be great to boost a DHS H8 40deg 2.15mm, and did the same to that one. The effect didn't come...
  17. Xiom tau 2 compared to nittaku sieger pk50

I had a copy of Nittaku Sieger PK50. Don't really know if it is faster than TAU II, but the feeling is different. Sieger has a hard sponge and a softer top sheet and does not work like Chinese rubbers, even though it's tacky and quite hard. Good spin, but not a looping monster at all. TAU II is...
  18. I'm curious if this setup is worth the cost

This is a good setup, if you want to make it easy for your self and get good value for the money. :) Pro Table Tennis PingPong Combo Racket Yinhe W 6 Blade with 2x Palio AK 47 YELLOW Matt Rubbers Shakehand long handle FL|Table Tennis Rackets| - AliExpress
  19. I'm curious if this setup is worth the cost

I can't say that Rakza 7 Soft is even a bit tacky. Nothing that you would notice anyway.
