Im sure you have seen all the debate on the privately made DHS national blades and those made commercially also known as the replicas.

I think at the end of the day, some people sell products and some people choose to buy products, if you believe the quality is worth the price asked then you can go for it or else look elsewhere, that's everyone's free choice. I just want to add that based on the pictures alone, I believe the blade to be genuine (I have DHS W997) but that is a purely subjective opinion as is everyone's view on the appropriate price range.

I never said that it was fake

just mentioned the commercial replicas and the actual custom made thing because that tends to be the difference in price etc.
if you go onto mytabletennis you can actually see people 'punching on' about this topic due to heaps of misconceptions (quite a good laugh actually)

I actually agree with your post, I believe it's a genuine DHS custom W968 blade and therefore clearly has a higher price than vs commerical ML 5 blade. I have the DHS W997 blade myself and I use it as one of my main setups

One thing to state here. This has nothing to do with anyone's credibility. There are more counterfeit DHS products out there than for any other company. Sometimes the difference between the counterfeits and the real stuff are very hard to tell.

I don't know Chen Chen and it looks like he hasn't been on the forum very long so nobody really knows him. These products could be real or they could be counterfeit. If they are counterfeit, that is a lot of money to spend. If they are real, then it is up to each of us if those products are worth the asking price.

How can you be sure that they are real? You can't. That is part of the problem here. Chen Chen could have products that are totally legit. Or these could be fakes. I know someone who was on the CNT at one point. She gets and sells H3 National rubbers for a lot less than that. But, she gets them from the source and I am not sure she has to pay for them.

So, that does not say much except that Chen Chen's source may have been through someone who got them from someone. If he got them directly from a CNT player or from DHS because he used to be a CNT player, he might be offering them at a much different price.

So, price is not the real issue here. Anyone who really wants to by products from Chen Chen has to decide if they trust him and if they trust that he has the real thing.

And this is what i was talking about, i bought my DHS and it was perfect even better than my Butterfly JM and Butterfly ZJK blue dragon and Butterfly Primorac and Stiga Carbonado, and the price was even cheaper lower than all of those, and plays much better than those, so does that means i have all legit Butterfly blades and this DHS at lower price is counterfeit but playing better than the legit blades?

I understand that the seller put that price so that his products are legit or original or custom build, but i really not sure how much this custom built blade will be way much better than the commercial then? Even DHS Ma Long custom made from that site i bought my DHS from is way cheaper than his product here, so how much is his DHS ML custom made different than the other custom made from the website? If he said about 150 pound or 200 pound even it is so expensive i may say acceptable difference, but 300 pound, that is even more than double the price of that custom made from the site, with his price i can buy almost 3 custom made of DHS ML, or is that custom made is counterfeit and his custom made is legit?

I will wait and see some members buying from him first, i tried the site and my first impression was great, happy with DHS HH3 and i will trust them for ML5 too, not in rush for it yet, but i hope Chen Chen is selling a gold/diamond custom made DHS ML W968 at that price.

Ive never mentioned anything about counterfeits. the replicas of w968 and w997s are still produced by DHS or what not but they are more commercialised. What you are comparing is like comparing a normal commercial butterfly blade for example your JM to a butterfly blade when you call up butterfly and chuck in the same layers of wood and carbon. trust me the price gap will be at least double when you do that. worst of all itll be exactly the same thing
