You got that right. LGL's goal is to make table tennis a popular game on global scale. An important step is to increase athletes' compensation and reward money.
I see. I am both surprised and delighted by this move. I totally agree for bigger payouts to athletes.
I always believe, to be of world class standard for any sport is extremely hard work, talent and skill. No sport is harder than the other. They are all unique in their own ways. But just comparing Tennis to Table Tennis, there is some difference in popularity on global scale. (And for a long time, prize payout amounts)
At least there are the recent improvements, such as increased prize payouts, T2, Seamaster sponsorship etc. Hope they can continue to improve further and keep us excited!
