Today's match has concluded and was a close one. Kolbermoor won their first match today with Lee Yunji debuting. She did lose both her singles however, but the lower pair managed to win three of out of four matches after a season of almost all losses so far. Lachenmayer had no problem in the battle between the choppers as she is a good attacker. Kaufmann vs Hursey was the highlight. Kaufmann struggled with Hursey's serves from what I saw. She may have won 3-0, but all of them were just with a two-point-difference. Final scores added in my post above.

Sunday has two matches coming up. Weinheim vs Bingen at 2PM and Dachau vs Weil at 3PM German time. Dachau has had only one match so far. I will be in Weinheim again with no internet.

Sorry I'm so late to posting updates. Was too tired yesterday and busy today. Pretty one-sided scores. Weinheim now two matches without Wan as she is still recovering. Manager said it was bound to happen after playing too much. She was still there yesterday to support the team though. Jeger was forced to play in the upper pair as a result, but I don't think that was bad since she and Rakovac are on the Croatian team and play WTT events together and she is very good against choppers. It was a big task for the lower pair, though. Sadikovic plays for Weinheim's second team in the 3. Bundesliga. She had a comfortable lead in the first game hitting a lot of forehand winners and pulled through. The match turned with the second game though as Shi kept focusing the middle and backhand side of Sadikovic who could not keep up with the backhand and didn't even try to step around to use her vastly superior forehand. Nguyen did well against Kuzmina who simply plays with higher quaity. Managed to turn around the second game after being down 1-6 forcing a lot of receive errors and getting Kuzmina to block long on spinnier shots. She did win that game 11-7, but Kuzmina is just stronger so she lost the match 1-3. After losing a close match against Rakovac Jeger proved her experience in playing choppers and beat Choi 3-1. Unfortunately her match didn't count since Chien lost to Rakovac. After beating Choi 3-0 she lost to Rakovac in the decider. Rakovac is very strong on the forehand almost hitting like a man and Chien struggled with that, but she also didn't seem in great shape that day. She was really passive in the doubles, but strangely enough had zero issues with Choi. That's probably more due to her playing style than condition. Anyway, she was quite frustrated in the match against Rakovac and even got a yellow card for smacking the ball. This will be a rough first half of the season if Wan won't be available for the remaining matches and the play-offs could be in danger as a result. Final scores:

Weinheim vs Bingen 1-6

Chien/Jeger Majstorovic vs Rakovac/Choi 1-3
Nguyen/Sadikovic vs Shi/Kuzmina 0-3
Chien vs Choi 3-0
Jeger Majstorovic vs Rakovac 1-3
Nguyen vs Kuzmina 1-3
Sadikovic vs Shi 1-3
Chien vs Rakovac 2-3
Jeger Majstorovic vs Choi 3-1
Nguyen vs Shi
Sadikovic vs Kuzmina

Can't say anything about the other match as Dachau still doesn't stream. Hopefully they have recorded some of the matches and will post them later.

Pranjkovic vs Toftaker 0-3
Byun vs Hursey 0-3
Winter vs Lachenmayer 3-0

My bad, I forgot to make a post after last week's match since there was no stream and my head was elsewhere.

Bingen vs Dachau 2-6

Rakovac/Choi vs Winter/Cosic 1-3
Shi/Kuzmina vs Byun/Pranjkovic 3-1
Rakovac vs Winter 0-3
Choi vs Byun 0-3
Shi vs Cosic 0-3
Kuzmina vs Pranjkovic 3-0
Rakovac vs Byun 0-3
Choi vs Winter 0-3
Shi vs Pranjkovic 1-0
Kuzmina vs Cosic

No stream so can't really comment except for the dominant win. Winter is still unbeaten with six out of six matches won and leads the ranking for this season ahead of Kaufmann and Paranang who each lost one match so far. Cosic plays mainly 3. Bundesliga and was back-up for this match.

Since I was so late to post the next match is gonna be tomorrow actually at 2PM German time, Weil vs Bingen. It should be streamed, but no YouTube link at the moment. I will tune in later since I will be watching a club mate's match, but will share the link in time tomorrow.

Today's match concluded a few hours ago. Bingen won 6-3 over Weil. Both teams were missing their top player as Hursey was at the World Youth Champs still and Rakovac is currently at the Mixed World Cup. Weil had it tough as their back-up Osypenko usually plays Oberliga (fifth division, 1600 TTR) and was guaranteed to lose all her matches. Still very commendable fight from Weil with Sozoniuk going full length in her matches and winning two out of three and Riliskyte winning her first match after being down 4-8 in the decider. Lachenmayer did not have a good day today unfortunately. After giving away game points in the second game of her first match and losing it it seemed like she was prone to errors and couldn't bounce back. Final scores have been added in the post above.

Weil is currently last with six out of six matches lost. There will be a break of almost two weeks before we have four matches in a span of three days. December is packed with seven matches left in total before the second half of the season starts in January.

So with Bundesliga Women can teams from the 2nd and 3rd division move up? Wouldn’t they be able to fill up the mandatory 8 slots by getting the top teams from the 2nd division?
Teams can promote, but that would require getting new players and no one has the budget for it sadly. Money is basically always the issue just like with the men.

this happens with both mens and womens.

if teams want to move up, then a team will need to move down.

one of my players help won the 2nd Bundesliga last year, and the club choose not to go up. (so the TTBL looser didn't need to move down).

The financial side is 3 to 4 folds different and that is a lot of money to raise in a short time frame.

Forgot that one of the four matches is today and not on the weekend. Tonight's match starts at 6.30PM German time so about in half an hour. It's Langstadt vs Berlin. Both teams haven't lost yet and one will lose their streak tonight. Langstadt usually streamed, but last time for some reason they chose the inferior platform Facebook for streaming and I haven't seen them mention if there will be a stream tonight and where. Will post the link in time in case there is one.

Tonight's match concluded. Bajor played after all, just not the doubles. Pretty one-sided match overall, but it was gonna be hard without Paranang. Not much to say without stream. Tomorrow there will be one match at 2PM, Kolbermoor vs Weinheim, thankfully with livestream again. On Sunday there will be two matches. I will be umpiring at the youth championships in my state the whole weekend and won't be able to watch any of the matches. Will posts the links in time during my breaks and summarize in the evening.

Sorry once again. I actually barely had any breaks and it was the venue again where internet doesn't work. I wanted to catch up on the Kolbermoor vs Weinheim match, but haven't gotten around to it and now we have the remaining three matches for this year coming up.

Kolbermoor vs Weinheim 5-5

Kaufmann/Huang vs Wan/Kim 0-3
Lang/Wang vs Jeger/Majstorovic 1-3
Kaufmann vs Kim 3-1
Huang vs Wan 3-2
Lang vs Nguyen 3-0
Wang vs Jeger Majstorovic 2-3
Kaufmann vs Wan 3-0
Huang vs Kim 1-3
Lang vs Jeger Majstorovic 0-3
Wang vs Nguyen 3-2

Wan is still injured, you can see her wearing a bandage covering her arm. She had to give up after the first game against Kaufmann unfortunately. Despite the circumstances good end result for Weinheim. Kolbermoor might have been happier with a win since they only have one so far, but the draws might be the key at the end of season. While it's good to give the young players exposure in the lower pair it's very hard for them to win against the seasoned players and the upper needs to score if a team wants to win. Kaufmann is basically winning everything, but you still need six points and Weinheim is struggling with both the upper and lower pair.
If you wanna go back and watch the match here is the link:

VOD Kolbermoor vs Weinheim

Berlin vs Bingen 6-1

Surjan/Neumann vs Rakovac/Mynarova 3-0
Kaneyoshi/Bajor vs Shi/Kuzmina 3-0
Kaneyoshi vs Shi 3-0
Bajor vs Rakovac 3-0
Surjan vs Mynarova 3-0
Neumann vs Kuzmina 2-3
Kaneyoshi vs Rakovac 3-0
Bajor vs Shi 1-0
Surjan vs Kuzmina
Neumann vs Mynarova

Complete domination from Berlin. Kaneyoshi won all of her six matches so far and continues to be a key player for the team. Looking at the individual scores there was never a chance for Bingen. Neumann lost her match in the decider against Kuzmina. Berlin is at the top of the chart as the only team without a loss so far.

VOD Berlin vs Bingen Table 1
VOD Berlin vs Bingen Table 2

Dachau vs Weinheim 6-1

Winter/Cosic vs Wan/Kim 2-3
Byun/Pranjkovic vs Jeger Majstorovic/Nguyen 3-0
Byun vs Kim 3-2
Winter vs Wan 3-0
Pranjkovic vs Nguyen 3-1
Cosic vs Jeger Majstorovic 3-0
Byun vs Wan 3-0
Winter vs Kim
Pranjkovic vs Jeger Majstorovic
Cosic vs Ngyuen

Cursed season for Weinheim. Wan being still injured had to forfeit again, this time right after the doubles and Jeger got injured as well. She managed to finish her doubles match, but had to give up after the first game of her singles match. Weinheim's goal was to finish first or second at the end of the season to qualify for the play-offs semi-finals, but as it stands even qualifying for the play-offs will be very hard. No stream for this match.

As I already mentioned there are three more matches before the winter break. The first one is actually tonight:

Friday 7PM German time Dachau vs Kolbermoor no stream
Saturday 2PM German time Langstadt vs Dachau stream?
Sunday 1PM German time Berlin vs Weinheim Table 1, Table 2

I will be playing a tournament this weekend and most likely not be able to watch the matches, but the internet works in the venue and I will post reminders and maybe updates on the matches.
