American vs Kiso Hinoki

Hello, what are the differences between American and Japan Kiso Hinoki?

Both are in the cypress family. "American hinoki" is an advertising term for Port Orford Cedar, should be a little stiffer, harder, and denser than the Japanese variants but otherwise should have very similar playing characteristics.

That's right. Part of the reason why Kiso is so mystical haha.

If you want a Hinoki blade, get a blade from Darker.

I think it is about the weather and geo location..... Because the Japanese version is more soft and dense.... But still the same like us or euro version
