What is the best way to store a sheet of new rubber (still in package) during the hot, summer months?
Is refrigeration an option? Or will that crack the rubber?
Refrigeration doesn't seem like a good idea. But I don't know much about this topic.

I just keep the rubbers in ziploc bag and keep it in my room. You can also buy some airtight ziploc bags on Temu or Aliexpress where you can seal the bag and then suck out the air from the bag.

That is an interesting idea. As far as I know, rubbers are damaged through heat, sunlight, oxidation, humidity, corrosion, and impact. The cold only makes rubber less lively, but I've never heard of rubbers being damaged from low temperatures. Normally rubbers expires 3 years after production. Perhaps refrigeration would slow down the chemical reaction from factory tuning.

So it seems air sealing your rubbers and throwing them into the fridge would extend the life of your rubbers.
