The Donic Waldner Ultra Senso Carbon looks very very similar in the layout of the wooden plies to the Max Carbon, but with less overall thickness- 6.2 for the Max Carbon vs 5.7 for the WSUC. I think it might be worth checking out

Curently using Yasaka max carbon 3d,need something more flexy,DHS Hurricane Hao or Stiga OC?
Maybe 5+2 blade,DHS Hurricane 301, I admit I like the way it looks
Maybe even Hinoki blade,DHS Di Ht
FH rubber is Hurricane 3 Neo
BH rubber Nittaku Fast Arc G1(I'm thinking of changing to semi tacky rubber)
Maybe try Fang Bo carbon?

Max carbon is hard. To have a bit more flexibility your best bet is 5-7 ply wood with a hard top ply.

DHS Hao 2
Stiga Intensity
Stiga Clipper
