Butterfly distributor in UK

Can anyone tell me if there are any Butterfly distributors to the UK other than Teessports? I want to buy the new look Timo Boll ALC blade as shown in the new 2017 butterfly catalogue but teessports current stock is a mixture of the old and new look versions and they won't let me specifically order the new look version as they want to turnover their existing stock so it would be a gamble as to which one I'd receive. I know there is no difference in the playing quality of the blades as the new version changes are purely cosmetic...but if I'm going to get myself a top quality blade, I'd like to get the most up to date version. I believe the newer version also has the built-in hologram for added security - although I know that anything from teessports will be a genuine blade, of course!

I did call them and ask the question. Their response was that I couldn't specifically order the new version. All I'm able to specify is which handle type I want.

Thorntons table tennis would ship out the blade you want, it's abit strange for teessport to do that but as you said they want to shift the old stock without reducing the price.
I ordered my viscaria from teessport and got the newest one with hologram etc on

Nice customer service!! NOT!! As a customer one should think that one's requests have the highest priority. No matter if weight, handle type or whatever! I'm slowly getting the idea why people don't recommend teesports.
Excuse me, but this is totally effed up and by no means acceptable. Doesn't matter if the guy had a bad day or whatever, but to make it short:
the customer is king.
When i go to my shop the racket-outlet in Frankfurt they let me select the heaviest rubbers and blades and they they are not an only butterfly dealer and hardly benefit from selling butterfly equipment. Everything else just isn't acceptable! This service should also be available when buying online or via phone.

Very sad to hear this. Actually Butterfly is known over here for their excellent service!
From my point of view they want the best of you, your money, so they also have to deliver and earn and deserve your money.
Customer is supposed to be King.
Either find an [offline]-shop that's also selling butterfly stuff and is more customer oriented or just write a mail to
[email protected]

If you don't mind buying used stuff then i'm quite sure someone on the forums might have a new one for you too.
