Not my experience at all, I have it on a Garaydia ALC and it plays fine. People should just do what they can handle.
Of course, people should use what they can handle and tolerate. Nothing like a good blanket statement. We’re just exchanging opinions, nothing more and nothing less than that.

I tested Zyre03 on FH and BH on a Xiom Hugo HAL. It was slow as hell ! Discussing with the owner of the racquet, main cause seemed to be the blade. He once owned the same than me and he stated than King acB was way faster than HAL. Testing Zyre on my blade would be interesting.

G09c to Z03 is gonna be a big change. I'd use it on whichever blade you are more familiar with though, so you can gain reference

Z03 is also no lightweight so it might be more manageable on Infinity with standard headsize, than Mazunov which is slightly oversized
I agree, familiar blade is much more important. Also, Z03 is not heavier than D09c and not much more than D05 and G09c is pretty heavy so IMHO, @jackass22 should be fine regardless.

...Z03 is not heavier than D09c and not much more than D05...
Same experience. Cut to Viscaria size, my sheet of Z03 is less than a gram heavier than D05. D09c can be 2-3 grams heavier. I think the relative lightness of Z03 (because of the thin topsheet) is one of its selling points.

Maybe the composite without Carbon ( stiffness) makes IT slower with rubbers like zyre

The Hugo HAL I got have they reissued the blade is slow and head heavy. When I tried Zyre on it, I struggled - might do better now but I wouldn't try it again as the blade causes me to have grip issues and ultimately elbow issues.

My friend let me borrow his blade of Q968, with forehand Hurricane 3 Blue Sponge, and backhand Z3.

(Sorry in advanced for my broken English, I used a little bit of Google translate thank you for Understanding)

I feel like the Z3 is generally fast, but controllable, in between D09C and D05. The spin is in my opinion similar to the D09C. The feeling is good, not too bouncy but I don't really feel the ball as much due to the thicker sponge. Very interesting new type of feeling for a rubber, some people love it some people hate it, but it's a really acquired taste.

Accidentally caught the table edge twice today, really hard... and Z03 was somehow unscathed. I'm pretty sure any other rubber I've used would have been badly damaged. No question Z03 is exceptionally resilient. Also haven't noticed any significant loss of grip after ~20 hours of play, so starting to believe Butterfly's durability claims.

Completely forgot about that aspect of durability. The edges crumbling or getting damaged from table contact 😮

Anyone tried Zyre03 on BH and on a Viscaria like blade? Im probably about to retire my trusty D05 and if this is an upgrade i would like to try it out lol
Yes, just put a sheet of 2.5 on my FZD ALC (already have 2.7non FH) - early indications are as expected. It feels pretty quick and very spinny, but blocks need a bit more focus to keep on the table against good spin.

Has anyone tested the Zyre-03 rubber on a W968 blade?

I’m curious how the combination feels in terms of speed, dwell time, and overall control.

Would love to hear your thoughts

Guys yesterday tried Zyre-03 2.5 with BH using Stiga Infinity VPS is amazing how easy grip the ball, also with the grip you can place the ball wherever you want with a lot of topspin and control, you can lift chop balls easily, I'm still amazed with this rubber.

I think the rubber when new still doesn't have full potential, more time playing with the rubber more better is.
