Sanwei's whole HC Series are composite blades with a Hinoki top ply.

Some Yinhe T-series blades (T2S is a Schlager clone)

A few XVT blades.

Hi, I’d love to try out a Hinoki blade but don’t wanna spend too much money. Are there any composite or 7 ply all wood Chinese hinoki blades other than Yinhe Eearth E-2 which is 5 ply all wood?
Once upon a time I was also interested in playing with a Hinoki blade without spending a lot of money. I purchased a Yinhe blade and didn't like it. I have a suspicion that the outer layer of veneer was not hinoki, but a related cypress, which has different characteristics.

I'm pretty sure the yinhe "cypress" is actually Juniper. My friend has one if the single ply "hinoki" blades but it is much harder, denser than my Yasaka Musashi and more expensive Butterfly Tmax.
