they need the team play to be end before certain of period. So they have shorten the double's game, and the 5th game. Else, the TV station might need to cut the live feed in order to continue their planned schedule.

Why do some of the final game in these matches stop before 11 points?

I believe single games are best of 5, if a 5th set is needed it is to 7 points, needing a 2 point difference (5-7, 6-8, 7-9)
Same rules for doubles, but its best of 3, 3th set needed, to 7 points with 2 point difference.

I hate the blue floor because it's harder to see the ball for us spectators.

But how come Xu Xin lost is beyond me, I can't imagine his shots even stronger than what they already were in this match and being even faster on his legs. It seems like there's some kind of limitation being a penholder which make you lose to shakehand players with skilled backhand.
