Some curious results! Xu Chenhao was clutching his shoulder throughout his 0-4 v Wang Chuqin - I guess he was injured. He hits a very flat BH - his best shot - is that short pimples? Yesterday XX was very lacklustre. Today's match LJK v FZD was the best I've seen in this event. On that evidence LJK will batter WCQ in the final, but let's wait and see. As for the Ladies, I think WMU has improved her FH top-spin - some of her rallies v CM were scintillating.

Chen Meng can't get a break.

I think ladies team has a good problem right now that young players are knocking on the door pushing senior players side.

Chen Meng is an interesting case as she under performs at time against members of her own team but only one in the team that is consistently showing wins against Mima, unlike DN and LSW in their last games. This might be only life line that she needs for selection for Tokyo 2021

Wang Yidi probably needs another year one tour to really break into top 6, she is good enough imo. Along with SYS & WMY looking to build good young squad for next few years.

XX for singles record lately been average and like CM only life line right now for Tokyo 2021 might just be his proven ability for XD and team event for doubles.
