On the 25th August the Men's Singles final took place at the Czech Open 2013 - ITTF World Tour! The final included Japan's Masato Shiono and Spain’s Carlos Machado. HD video below thanks to youtuber ttCountenance.

It has just been 2 months ago since Japan's Masato Shiono shocked the table tennis world when he was crowned Men's Singles champion at the Japan Open. Just 2 months later the defensive player repeats success at the Czech Open. On route to the final Masato defeated Robert Floras, Grigory Vlasov, Kiril Skachkov, Pavel Sirucek and Daniel Gorak. The number 13 seed of Japan defeated in form Carlos Machado of Spain in 4 straight sets with scores 11-8, 11-6, 11-7, 11-2.
Previously that day, defensive player Viktoria Pavlovich secured the women's singles title. This was the first time in the ITTF World Tour history both the Men's and Women's Singles titles were won by defensive players.
