Pretty stupid move and not unexpected as both brothers seem hot-headed. But I've tossed my racket into my bag before too hard after a loss. So its easily done at that age when he was favourite to win.

Why does the umpire pick the racket up/take it off him afterwards though?

If you still throw your racket now I'd love to know how you were at 17/18!

I'd have had to buy blades in bunches if I was competing TT at 17. 😂
