Yup, it was known back in 2025, if you consider that a heads-up, which has been in the works at least since 2021 and the "perpetrator" was seen here in the stands.

Just watched Dima vs Junsung. The arc on the toss from Dima when he is doing his FH chop-service looks way beyond 30 degrees, but it's not being called out by the ref. On the other hand, Bernie's toss at 30.25 degrees is a faul :S

But maybe I don't fully understand this rule and hopefully someone can clarify.

His ball toss is so high that the angle gets smaller making it legal. Same with Hugo. The simple fix is to add a rule that allows the ball to only travel x cm horizontally.
