First setup for basement player

I was honestly thinking today of slapping 729 Super fx on instead of my Fastarcs and just smother my blade in control Mercury 2 might be a good idea too, only tried it for a jiffu

Honestly, I think the Mercury 2 is an underrated rubber. People are seeing it as a cheap rubber because it cost like less than coffee. But for that price I think it can handle everything for a split of the price of any other rubber. Yes, it lacks speed, but how many of us is playing top tier leagues or are pro players? Also, the speed depends on the blade, so you can slap it on a stiffer faster blade and you get decent speed out of it. Sure, it will never be as fast as T05 or D09, etc..but for lower leagues, I think it is worth the try.
