While I agree with most you said I think there are some huge advantages with composite even if you are not playing close to the table: My blocks are A LOT better with ALC blades because of the better sweet spot.![]()
That's basically because of the flatter throw angle and the longer trajectory, but can easily compensated with the right touch and racket angle.
So Yeah, as i said: close to the table there's not very much that a composite can do that an allwood can't.
