He seems to identify a couple main attributes:

1) the power of lower than Hurricane BS
2) It is more linear, and doesn't grab and hold the ball as much as H3 BS.

I think he compares it against H3 National and there is not much that can hold up against that. He also mentioned that he already boosted it, or does he mean "it is already boosted" ??

I'm not sure how to interpret his review. It doesn't seem like a home-run review. But he says it has good grip and high tackiness, like the old H3 sheets.

For a more defensive All Round forehand, the rxton 9 or the gold arc 5 or 9 would be better ?

Non of them are defensive rubbers.

Rxton9 is more a conventional hard sticky Chinese style rubber made for high effort strong shots. I've only used GA8 not 5 or 9 but the Goldarc series were made to be softer and more lower impact friendly. It just depends on what you want

Tks! Is gold arc 8 faster than Rakza 9 or 7, could you give me like a comparison of its speed compared to other rubber ?

Idk about 9. But GA8 47.5 is faster than R7 for sure

So do you think GA8 47.5 can be played as a BH rubber ? Cause I lack power on the bh, and I would use the Rxton 9 on the fh, could you give me your thoughts on this setup ? Also I didn't see many people talking about how GA8 performs in more a defensive way on the bh ( principally chopping ) could you give me your opinion about this too ? (Sorry for the many questions).

GA8 is great for bh.

Its a good rubber for offense, for sure. Fast and with good spin. Easy to use on either side but if you are not familiar with springy Tensor rubbers it might take a bit to get used to.

If u lack power, you may find rxton 9 slow

But it's not as good as the latest ESN rubbers like Gewo Nexxus for example. There's not reason to prefer the GA8.

The Rxton 9 is factory boosted IIRC. Very high tack levels and a very fast rubber -- it's spin & grip remind me a little bit of a Xiom Tau 2.

The Rxton 7 however isn't factory boosted so it's a bit slower, but apparently you can buy a booster from Xiom Loki specifically made for it. One of my Chinese buddies says the R7 is quite popular in China but is usually boosted.

Without booster the R7 is slightly less tacky than the R9, but naturally has LOTS more dwell time to its top sheet -- It kind of feels a bit like a hurricane 2 to me in that regard.

Personally I love the R9 over the R7 for my FH looping game, but greatly prefer the R7 when it comes to serving. (The dwell time & spin you can get serving with the R7 is downright diabolical! 😈😈😈 I just bloody luuurrrrrve serving with that puppy!!

tks! My lack of power is more on the backhand, I tested rxton 9 and liked for fh, just one last quetion, i`ve read some reviews about the Hurricane 8-80 (soft) if you have tested this rubber could you give me your opinion about speed, spin and control comparing it to the GA8 (47.5) ?
