Looks to me Gauzy wanted to overpower Wang's defense, but could not ... 3:2, 8:6 ... best play so far!

A very good observation. May we suppose Gauzy is influenced by training with the great Calderano with his spirit of play?

Thanks

It's the winners' interview with Xu Xin and Liu Shiwen, Xu Xin answers a question, says the experience's been great and he hopes it will also be great in April (when the WC takes place, also in Hungary). The MC guy chuckles cause that wasn't what he asked at all. Liu Shiwen looks at him in amazement and immediately lols, assuming he legit chuckled at Xu Xin's actual answer, dismissively, as in "yeah, cute but there's no way in a million years you're winning the WC this year buddy". Liu Shiwen then peeks at Xu Xin like "you ok with that bro?", Xu Xin's just standing there smirking. The whole thing was hilarious.

Like she was late for the bus or something : )

So what do you think CNT vs The Rest of the World on the men' side, score is going to be? I'd still say Hugo has the best chance ...

Couldn't watch Vladi's game. Also I totally agree that Hugo has the best chance, I also feel almost sure he'll win :) Shiba will cause some damage too. A couple of sets or even a match.. But not very sure about that. He can perform very well in one match and then very badly in the next one.
Either way the matches shoud be interesting!

Yes, very much so Sir, obviously influenced. Their uniquely common two handed backhand betrays the creative spirit ...
: )

It was interesting that Simon took this path, I thought he could be more tricky and play more precise, lighter maybe ..

Your understanding is correct. I have heard Simon in interviews commenting on his "more tricky and play more precise, lighter ..." style that you well express. I have not before seen him play as he did in this match. Like so much in our sport, it will be fun to observe the future as it unfolds to see if his new inclination continues.

Thanks
