Is Timo Boll Still Able to Compete With Chinese Best Players ?

I think Timo Boll has only another 2 to 3 years to have a chance against the Chinese national team. After that, no one can predict what will happen. Maybe he will still win like Jan Ove Waldner? Who knows? What I know is that other than Vladmir Samsonov, he is the only player that has a chance. Dimitrij has a lesser chance to win the Chinese National team and still needs more time to develop further into the next Timo Boll.

Timo is not young 20 any moar. Top Chinese are young 20. This is quite natural.

I don't think Timo Boll is in the same league as JO Waldner, nowhere as gifted. He is now more or less 35 and therefore no longer at his peak physically. The Chinese players are all younger. So to answer the original question, I think he might still make the quarter or even semi (difficult) but I would be surprised if he goes as far as the final. It would be nice though ....
