CCTV5 "CCTV Report" reporter observation | Li Wujun: Doha is still far from the organizational standards of the three major competitions
Li Wujun: At the Doha World Table Tennis Championships, each team stayed in eight different hotels, which posed a great challenge to the organizing committee's organizational work. At the same time, the Doha World Table Tennis Championships is divided into the main hall and the secondary hall, and the distance between the main hall and the secondary hall is more than ten kilometers. I remember a few days ago in the training hall of Qatar University, I saw that after the teams adapted to the venue, they waited for the shuttle bus for an hour, which also caused some confusion in their arrangements.
In addition, there was such a scene in the competitions in the past few days, that is, the driver sent the sports team to the wrong venue, so that some athletes' competitions were forced to be postponed, especially for the teams of multiple events, which encountered greater challenges. Some teams can only choose to give up those young players who are not well-known and have low levels. It can be said that this is also a scene we don't want to see.
Although Doha has successfully held some WTT series in recent years and accumulated certain experience, Doha still needs to work hard to meet the high standards of the three major competitions.
