Looking something like vega pro, but lighter. My current setup-xiom solo+vpro+x04elite is already 183 grams, wouldn't go more.
On bh Omega 4elite bottoms out too much, tried vpro on bh - much better. But if i go with xvpro on both sides it could be 190 in total.
So alternative could be with medium -high throw, medium sponge, light weight.
Maybe hexer duro?

I don't like O4elite too, it is too soft.
Have you tried Vega Euro? It is lighter than Vpro - about 3grams I would say.
Other than that, with the weight problem you have, you better change to a lighter blade.

What is the weight of your blade?
My estimate based on your 183grams.
O4elite is 38 grams
Vega Pro is 44 grams
Glue about 2 grams each side
so blade is +/- 97grams?

When the blade was new it was 90 grams. Edge tape also takes some grams.
I like xiom solo and vega pro combo.
Only now i need something lighter for bh.
Had some hits with friends vega euro - quite similar to elite.
So maths are correct - 2 sheets vega pro = 88 + blade(90) = 190 -> seems to be too heavy.

your maths is not correct....
88 or 90 + 90 is 180. not 190
Edge Tape is really light, about 1-2 gram, you can choose not to use it too.

45 gram for a Tensor rubber is considered average weight. Many out there are 48grams or so.
You can get as low as 40grams, but then you need to see if you like soft - super soft sponge.

Other way to save weight is to use thinner sponge.

I used Andro Hexer+ before, that was about 38 grams (penhold cut), so I would say 40 grams.
I would say Vega Euro is harder than O4 Elite. Maybe the Vega Euro on your friends blade you tested was an even softer blade?
No matter what 90gram+ blade is indeed on the heavier side, and just using that, you are looking at 185gram +

I suggest maybe you find a 85gram Solo (not sure if that is possible, as I don't stock it)

hey, im still looking for a backhand rubber and i found the butterfly g3. The catapult effect is almost like Vega Pro, throw angle is middle like Vega Pro and the G3 is a little bit softer. Actually this was everything i was looking for. Would the G3 be a solution for me as a softer Vega Pro?

Would recommand to use Tibhar Genius (hard version which is softer than Vega Pro) or Andro Rasanter R47.
Good rotation rubbers whilst remaining control with enough speed.
