牛冠凯：我的一个突发奇想吧，因为我们两个小时候都在河南队训练，都是队友，她看到了要上学的年龄去上大学了，中间有好多年都没打球了。我觉得这个赛场是全国最高水平的赛场，我就想着我们俩可不可以配一下，因为以前也从来没有配合过混双。
问：当时他提出来的时候，你是什么反应?
段冬妍：第一个就觉得我的天呐，然后就紧张吧。
牛冠凯：她以为我在开玩笑。
