At the recent China Open World Tour 2012 Men Singles final Ma Long and Xu Xin swapped sides on the final point, similar to that of Wang Liqin and Ma Lin.

I have never seen this done with the backhand side.

Very true, it shows how much ball control these players actually have :)

So true! But its a nice gesture of Ma Long acknowledging his defeat to Xu Xin with a last show point. He was certainly out played.

I actually didn't notice that they are doing it on the backhand side :eek:
Probably it is a sign of Xu Xin's (forehand) dominance over Ma Long (backhand)? :p

Thanks for sharing, the China Open 2012 was awesome and what a job done by these two amazing players to end the tournament :)

The last point was really a nice acknowledgement of defeat from ma long :)

Well, Ma long was practicing that play with zhang jike always, and now he has done it in a match.hahahaha

Haha true Judah, Ma Long has good practice doing this! :)
